i think fergo, stapelton, and porter all have the potential to be superstars but at the moment i think fergo is most likely he has improved so much. to me a super star is player that can regulary do things other players can not, i can think of 2 examples recently of things he has done that most other players could not have, the try he set up for pommeroy agaisnt manly was incredible most players would have gone into tooch and the try he scored when his whole body was over the tooch line but in the air except for his hand that scored the try was awesome. What do you guys think?

Of the things that seperate the superstars from the boys...i think one of the most important (in all sports) is that they do the basic's very well.... superior in their fundamental skills to others... also LONGEVITY!! superstars hang around and are not one or 2 season hits....therefore its kinda impossible to call a young talent a superstar....

that said i agree - fergo looks the good so far!

Fergo! Hands down, we need to seal his signiture because he is going to get some serious offers for sure! Apparently uncle Soloman has been in his ear and telling him he should stay loyal to the Sharks for giving him his first break, i hope so!!!

Ferguson is certainly capable of some spectacular play but he has been very inconsistent so far. He has to eliminate the errors from his game first.
On the other hand, Stapleton hasn't put a foot wrong since his debut. Not only is his running explosive, his positional play is spot on and his defence is solid. Made a great try saver in the game against Manly Saturday night. I think he has definite superstar potential.

Don't write of Scotty Porter either, he also looks to have the goods of a great player.

stapleton, if they will let him do more than run onto the inside pass. when he played against the cowboys for his first game, he got the ball, and took off and ran wide, and we almost scored. since then, it's been all inside passes. give him the ball out wider, and let him create. the defence almost know what he is going to do now.

Currently Stapo is our best prospect. However I believe Matty Wright has the most potential. He is younger than all the others and the amount this kid improves over just a couple weeks is astounding. Look at how bad his defense was 5 weeks ago, it isn't even compareable to what he does now. By the time he is 20 Wright will be a force.

Stapo on the other hand looks like he should be played at center, he always seems to want to head in that direction and normally if he gets the ball there does well, either getting around the defence, putting them in two minds or putting his outside man into a gap. These inside balls are just overused now and poor Stapo is getting hammered every time.

i agree i think stapelton would be good at centre and thats why i think we should resign kearney that would give us a very good back line
