2 inconsistent players brought into an inconsistent team.

The last time the Warriors brought well was Wiki and Price - consistent leaders brought into an inconsistent team which lacked leadership.

Unless Cleary has a massive coaching epiphany before 2011 I can see the Warriors dishing up the same old, same old.

they will be very dangerous though, even if inconsistant

Like I said, same old, same old.

They've always been dangerous with their size and ability to move the ball. With the purchase of Mateo its obvious they're looking at increasing their jungle ball style of play. He'll be rocks or diamonds I reckon.

Thinking about the positions they will play Mateo in 6 as Luck plays Lock, Inu probably a Centre to partner or cover the loss of Tate, which means Hohaia will play Fullback? Mckinnon won't be resigned I would imagine.

Mateo is an interesting guy - Australian Schoolboy, City Origin, Tongan International.

Yeah good signings I reckon. I would have loved to get Inu.

They've successfully re-energised/youth-ed their list and put together some good depth. They're just one decent prop short, they should be going for one or even two of the experienced and cheap options, or Lima if they can afford him.

1) Hohaia (whose playing superb footy atm, he's got so much time with the ball)
2) Locke
3) Ropati
4) Inu
5) Vatuvai
6) Seymour
7) Maloney
8) Packer
9) Heremaia
10) Rapira
11) Mannering (c)
12) Mateo
13) Luck

14) *Prop*
15) Lillyman/Latimore/Royal/*prop*
16) Brown/Rapira
17) Henderson/Moon

With guys like Liliki, Moon etc as depth. Good squad coming together over there even if they don't keep Tate.

Ben Matulino's off contract from them, I'd like us to pick him up but I don't see it being a priority, and he'd be hard to fit into the squad. Very talented though, someone's going to get him and turn him into a devastating back-rower.

Wouldn't mind having a crack at Locke at the end of next year too to play fullback. He's too good to be on the wing for long.

I tell you what, they will have a pretty red hot side! Could be a force in '11. Probably need a top quality halfback if they really wanna challenge for the title but they look to have a real good squad. Some real good young players in Sam Rapira, Heremaia, Packer and Steve Rapira + Some experience in Hohaia and Tate. Also have good depth if injuries occur!

1. Mckinnon
2. Inu
3. Tate
4. Ropati
5. Vatuvei
6. Hohaia
7. Maloney/Seymour
8. Rapira
9. Heremaia
10. Packer
11. Mannering
12. Luck
13. Mateo

14. Royal
15. Rapira
16. Matulino

Cleary hasn't picked Locke the past few rounds. I'm unsure as to why this is, because I can't recall anything the kid has done wrong. Definitely has a bright future ahead of him.
