NYC Finals Week 2: Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks Vs Sydney Roosters 5:15pm Friday 16th September @ SFS

That game was one of the best quality U20 games I have seen. True semi final.
Performance was a great team effort & really enjoyed the dig when they had their backs to the wall.
Defend like that for the next 2 games & anything could happen.

well if the storm beat the dogs in nyc today that means they will be playing the warriors in nyc and first grade so i dare say they will have that nyc game in melbourne

meaning we will play friday night before the manly game at the sfs. which is good because i will be going to it. pub crawl up the hill. can taste the vb's now

I value your contributions hugely and I suspect that you've read more into my original post than I intended.

To clarify... when I was at the game, I got talking to some of the U/20s players families. You would not believe the extent to which some of them go to support and facilitate the development of the players.

Without that support at home those players would be not in a position to be playing at all. When you think about it, as fans, we kind of "consume" football. These people, on the other hand, create it.

For every player out there wearing the mighty Black, White and Blue there is a mini "pit-crew" getting them there. These people are the unsung heroes of football.

It truly humbled me.

Its good also because we've played a few games there now in the last month or so

Hopefully the boys are nice and comfortable playing there and giving it to the Cowboys. That Taumolo is goign to be hard to stop!

Fair enough - I was standing with Brod's family at the game myself at one stage. I agree that their support is invaluable.

I would of liked to have gone and seen this game, plus I've only got 2 sickies left.

Need to save them for later.

It's a bummer they don't show these games on free to air TV as well
