I will say however, that the NSW Cup side is a mutually beneficial joint venture between the Cronulla Sharks and the Melbourne Storm.

As such, all the players. regardless as to whether they sit within the Sharks roster or the Storm roster, deserve our support.

As long as the player wears a Sharks logo on their chest, they are one of ours.

i disagree. the point of reserve grade is to look at the players who can put pressure on the first graders and to see who could fill the gaps when injuries occur. the storm players can't fill that void

So all those times that you go to watch a NSW Cup game you don't cheer when one of the Melbourne players gets across the line? As I said, it's a joint venture and the whole team deserve our support whilst they're wearing our crest.

I agree that in terms of interest in our depth, asking questions about how Jack Afamasaga and Beau Champion is a bit weird.

Obviously a keen interest in how Paul Aiton or John Williams are going would be far more interesting.

Saying all that though...

How good is it to have three teams in Finals contention?

It looks like the NSW Cup side as well as the U/20's are sitting comfortable in 3rd and 4th place and the NRL side looks to be a possible for the final eight as well.

As a Club we're doing well.

Obviously we could be a whole lot better but I think we're positioned really well for this season and for seasons to come.

I've said this before Fitz but the last time we had a good u/23's (now u/20's) & a good reserve side (now NSW Cup) we ended up having a very strong first grade side for about 5-6 yrs.

If history repeats itself come next yr & especially in 2013 we will start to seriously challenge for the title!

talking about depth. We are gonna need lots of it after watching the tigers tonight. Fafita and Gibbs are such a downgrade on snowden and Douglas

Hey Jigsaw to the defence of Fifita Sheens does't give him much game time.[I think he played a total of about 20 mins.] no wonder he wants to leave.
I thought Gibbs was okay .
