I've used a boost to trade Brookes Schiller and Tuaupiki for Hynes, Iro and Sasagi, now debating whether to captain Hynes or Edwards, I'm leaning towards Edwards because the Cows are dogshit

Trade 2, one of

• V Fifita to S Fainu (gives me a second FRF for the week)
• Smithies to S Fainu (gives me a second FRF for the week, via VFifita)*
• Strange (BE50 average 53) to Mulitalo
• Savage (BE76 average 54) to Mulitalo

Why Muli? I want to back Lomax to slip when Dragons eventually do (can Flanno get them to keep it up?), Val after origin, I have Manu and DWZ already. Tago a consideration with Cleary returning. Both him and Ronnie don't play origin but Panthers have two major byes, Sharks just one.

Anyone have any strong thoughts on which direction is should go?

*Smithies noted to play less (and thus score less) when raiders are behind... their future isn't bright. Added bonus, this move frees up cash vs all the others that spend it.

Should note, the above means I back SJ at home vs Titans to outscore Cleary first game back vs Cowboys also. Could be close.
Then reassess this next week. Would love to be able to hold SJ longer but he needs the performances.

Also keep an eye on new Knights fullback to cash someone out for after his two games, or after this week if forced to risk going early and he kills it.

I think I've worked it out now that I can flick him, with cleary back I'm using my 3rd boost, ponga injury makes cash alot easier obviously think I'll be going Walsh at flb like most others.

Was planning to bring in another gun ctw as mentioned above by trading out couple of raiders this week but cash doesn't work now so will move one of strange or Savage out with hutch and bring in sasagi and hope he gets dual in coming weeks so i can look at free up cash in 2rf easily for ctw

Yes. @Super Impose suggested I sell Ben B for Plath but when I went to do it I was about $2K short. But after a little wheedling and horse trading I managed to get it done.

Reports are that the preferred replacement for Ponga is currently injured, so a chance Armstong doesn't last too long.

The other option is probably Fainu. The 12 (HIA) in his rolling average has capped his price rises and is dual FRF/2RF. Just been elevated into the run on side, although on an edge, not through the middle like he's been playing.

I have dealt with Tricky, that's how I finally got Plath. He is listed as a 6 as well as a 2nd rower or lock.

I think I have done OK - I have both Edwards and Walsh in my 17 now so that has to be worth a few points. Still worried about Leota and Collins, they haven't scored well recently but @bort said that unless front rowers are making big metres or scoring tries their scores are generally light on.

Downgrade means sell them for someone cheaper.

Ideally you downgrade them to free up some cash and get a guy that scores just as well who'll make you money.

I have strong feelings about moving on VFitita

Will our attack improve without Trindall? It's actually possible if Nicho plays both sides (though our defense might go backwards).
I know Plath has some point chasing vibe, but he passes the eye test as a footy player and SC relevant. But I do have questions around how long they can keep up playing on pure heart.
