I made the 'don't trade a gun' mistake last week with Turbo. I'm very hesitant to do it again this week with Brown.

Fine out to EKat

Could do May or Lane to EKat instead but think they are both better chances of jagging a decent score in short term future than Fine is.

Yeah I can just go D young and lane for Schiller, katoa (200k in bank after) but thinking of taking a shot with brown to manu with boost, strange up to 5/8. Would have 150k left and then trade the potato lover with hutch next week for Cleary if he's back.

I assume most of us are thinking Talagi to iro next week if he doesn't come back in?

Also keeping tabs on TMM for next week.

Not sure who Iro will come in for next week, it probably is Yams just because I don’t think I want to lose anyone else at this stage.

Potentially have Chevy as an option the week after.

Talagi a concern now but Schiller could be this time next week too…

4th boosted trade this week. I am doing horribly with that but think my team is coming along nicely.
Holding young. Will be back in a couple weeks and think he will continue scoring/want to make it up to his team for being out.

Will have nearly 250k in the bank to trade brooks + someone to either Cleary or Hynes.

I'm kind of flip-floping on trading brown out haha, now that Curran has dual considering moving off Cotter instead, if I trade Yams and d young can still bring in manu with EKat and Schiller.

Would ideally prefer to hold may and still sell Lane but have no room in ctws unfortunately.

Could make bringing cleary back in tight but if I downgrade Savage next week I think I can get there.

Yeah don’t feel good sacking Brown but just been a disappointment all season

Definitely a bit of a logjam at ctw between actual scorers and cheapies at the moment. I don’t mind holding Yam I think he scores well eventually, but might go just because nobody else presents as a sell.

Seems to be a lot of middling players floating around the forwards at the moment, but I guess that was the narrative from the start of the season. I'm only looking to move them on (Lane, May and the like ) if I can find a decent downgrade option at the moment... I'm just not seeing any solid upgrade options. I'm hearing a bit of buzz around Dafita but for the price and in that team I'm not willing to take the chance!

This game is seriously crazy though... I scored 1274 last round and had over $500k sitting in the kitty. Makes you wonder just how much money we're really going to need to make! I still bought in Schiller for the cash though

My main concern now is Api. His injuries make me think he'll be rested more and maybe miss games. There's a few good options now for similar money. I think I'll hold though as I've only had him two rounds... maybe!

Not sure a boost is worth it to try back brown in, when it costs me May who I’d also be okay with backing a bit longer.

Nah just that a 35+ point FRF isn't a bad fill in when May and Flegler are unavailable. Not to stressed if I don't get him, Hughes hopefully okay for the job for a bit...

My conclusion with the values is probably just you wanna go up around 4mil
Last year def my best finish, was hoping to scrape into top 1% but finished in top 2. Still a way off the top 1000 and some KFC socks

I've decided to keep Yams and not bring in Manu after all now. Can't help but feel like he's going to explode the moment I trade him out.
Fullback this week probably had me too excited for Joey, double checked his draw in next few weeks and cooled off on it. Will have another look at him closer to origin I think.


Cotter has been consistent for me at frf but with Curran getting dual think my best move is trading him out and using cash elsewhere.

Shaun Lane just does not look like a confident footballer to me at the moment so I'm trusting that instinct and trading him.

So Dom Young, Cotter and Lane out.
Schiller comes in but my other two trades I'm somewhat torn.

Do I upgrade Cotter to AFB and bring in one of E Katoa and Haumole for Lane.

OR

Move Curran up to FRF and bring in both 2rfs?

I'll be overthinking this for the rest of the day

I'm getting EKatoa - think he has good keeper potential and a good run upcoming, although I'm going to him via DBrown so look for Dylan to have a big week.

Lane a reluctant hold for me for now. Agree he looks poor but should snag some attack stats at some stage and make himself an easier trade out. Cowboys Fine will be going instead, the absolute plodder.

Haumole a good shout, especially if he doesn't end up playing origin.
