i think the NRL needs to have a look at is scheduling policies. Recent history has clearly indicated that teams who play n Monday night have a notorisously poor record of backing up the follwoing round.
i'm no fan of monday night football to begin with, and beleive that is why we struggled in this game physically due to the short turnaround from last rounds win over souths.
That said, i think if the NRL are to keep Monday night football, the teams who played on that monday should not be scheduled to play the following round until Sunday at the earliest. This allows a 6 day turnaround for teams to re-group and have a fighting chance the following week.
This should also apply to teams playing on Sunday, and then backing up on Friday night

what does everyone else think?

They also need to look at home and away games. The Titans play at home again this week against the Warriors. That will be 5 home games in seven rounds. No wonder they are winning the comp. They won't win many in the back half of the season I'll bet.

harden up.
if we're blaming our loss on the fact we played monday night,we dont deserve to win the comp.
in my opinion home/away doesn't come into it.you've got to be good enough to win no matter where you play.

Scrap Monday Night Football!!!!!

First of all what is going through the NRL's heads, why play on Monday, no one actually wants to go to the games, because they are too tired from work, don't get me wrong I love coming home from school and watching league, but it works on a Friday, not on a Monday. The teams don't get as many people down to the grounds, the teams that play always end up playing on the following Saturday, and get beaten and there is no point in playing the one game on a Monday, move it back a day and have the Friday Night Double, Super Saturday and Super Sunday. The only match that should be played on a Monday should be on public holidays, eg: ANZAC Day Match

for me, football goes hand in hand with the weekend. i dont like it when the sharks play on monday just because i have to sit out the entire weekend and wait for it. i've never been to a monday night game, i dont think they would get as many as a sunday arvo or saturday night and certainly not as a friday night. i want to get rid of monday night football for this reason, i have no issue with backing up after it.
