i think the NRL needs to have a look at is scheduling policies. Recent history has clearly indicated that teams who play n Monday night have a notorisously poor record of backing up the follwoing round.
i'm no fan of monday night football to begin with, and beleive that is why we struggled in this game physically due to the short turnaround from last rounds win over souths.
That said, i think if the NRL are to keep Monday night football, the teams who played on that monday should not be scheduled to play the following round until Sunday at the earliest. This allows a 6 day turnaround for teams to re-group and have a fighting chance the following week.
This should also apply to teams playing on Sunday, and then backing up on Friday night
what does everyone else think?
