This is going to be brutal clash of forwards for the first 20. Sit back and enjoy.

I mean, there is a non zero chance he starts. Very low, but certainly possible.
I'm not really in a position to be guaranteeing anyone the named lineup will change.

I'd be very surprised to see Fifita start though, if that makes you feel any better

The only way Fifita starts is if BHU breaks down in the warm up. And even then he could start Rudolf.

Watched the last couple games

fifita was prob named to start those weeks but I honestly don’t remember

Fair enough mate but it’s been a pretty common feature, just thought someone of your nous would have noticed. :)

FMD Bomber, Dugan is not our best fullback option. I thought you were a smart cookie but you seem to be reluctant to make the hard decisions.

Maybe he is and your the one that’s wrong. ;)
Let’s wait and see.

With his dicky legs I don't have a lot of confidence in him as an ongoing #1. And Moylan is not the answer either. I just hope he gets through the warm-up and the game.

Nature of his knee injury (if correct) where it is cartilage and wear and tear damage he's not especially likely to go down from that.
What would be more likely is the more running he has to do, the longer it takes each week to be ready again for the next game.

So my concern is if he is consistently at fullback how many trainings will he be missing doing recovery on the knee so the team has to practice with a different fullback? How many gym sessions to help keep it strong will he have to skip for recovery?

I would prefer him not to be our long term fullback but would have a lot more confidence in him vs Panthers thank WK.
At this stage there's actually only 11 games left plus finals so he might actually have that in him.

Our backline looks well balanced to me. We have some strike power with Jesse and the 2 wingers. Bryson should be good defensively in the centres. SJ will hopefully have another good one. I like the team that is named

I like that line up, I had a feeling with Moylan out he'd do that with the backline over Kennedy, put Dugan there then move Goodwin to the centres & go with Mulitalo (if fit) or Nene.

I don't quite understand though, 3 weeks now he's named Fifita to start & BHU on the bench but always the other way around, why doesn't he just stick with BHU & name him to start. I'd say he'll start Uele to start again. Fifita is way past his best so I like Uele starting now.

He's letting Fifita keep the 8 jersey, I don't have an issue with it

With the way Fifita is playing, and getting better each game I don't care what he wears.

All good chad. Smoke and mirrors I guess.

Not really, it’s all about seniority.

FMD Bomber, Dugan is not our best fullback option. I thought you were a smart cookie but you seem to be reluctant to make the hard decisions.

For this game he is champ, Kennedy will get pummelled if he plays.

so you're telling me there's a chance...

Nah! :p

Dugan’s not our ongoing number one, but he is for this game.

What I don’t understand is why this is so hard for everyone to understand! Fifita’s standing as a senior player entitles him to the number eight jersey.

Neither do I. Keep the big fella happy and he’ll do the job for us.

Anyone know if the match up with Kikau is on Goodwin’s side? The only outside defender that I had any confidence being able to handle Kikau was Dugan.

He plays left so faces our intimidating right edge defence
