I usually like Webby but in this case he's just sticking up for a SMH colleague. A bit transparent in my book.

Well if that's the case about the tickets.
Why wasnt Gallen told this so he didn't shoot his mouth of in
front of the media looking like a goose.

General Admission
However, the club sent the wrong bunch of tickets to the club, unaware they had provided the Sharks with general admission tickets instead of grandstand seating.

The Sharks only opened the envelope a few days out from the Easter Sunday match and when they raised their concerns with the Panthers, the club had exhausted its grandstand allocation.

"We sent the wrong envelope out and they didn't open it until three days prior to the game to give to their wives and family," Fletcher said.

"When they did open them they realised they are just general admission tickets. When they rang up we had sold all our grandstand tickets. Nobody does this stuff on purpose. We respect them. I'll ring up on Tuesday and apologise.

"We didn't set out to do this intentionally. It's just a pity – there aren't many games you have all the seats sold under the grandstand. It's a good thing to happen as a club, but obviously we apologise for our mistake. It was nothing sinister. We wouldn't do that. We look after other clubs better than anybody."

I really could not give a flying **** about this issue but what happened to the right envelope?

penrith centrelink to hand out to their 'customers'
'differently advantaged clientele'

but... if it's so tough for the players wives and gf's maybe they shouldn't have hitched up with a cash loaded footy player, then they could get accustomed to sitting on a grass hill or in the 'normal' seats
The panthers club made a mistake, they apologised, too bad we didn't show as much grace our side

I can't believe the fuss over it tbh.

Wouldn't have been brought up if Gallen didn't make a song a dance about it during the post game.
remember hearing stories "back in the good old days" home teams turning off
hot water, power in dressing rooms etc.. anything to distract the away team.

There was a further OUTRAGE at Penrith on Sunday.
My Trumpet got confiscated by security !!!!!!!!!
First time EVER at a Sydney ground...

With the ground announcer trying to drown us out at the end, perhaps they were under orders to quieten us down by a certain Bee Sting Head, who hoped Penrith fans would show some support over Channel Nein.

Yeah that Penriff ground announcer has form in being a ******** and showing plenty of sour grapes whenever they lose. He's good for yelling over the mic whenever a fullback is about to catch a ball as well occasionally, I remember he did it to Gardner once among others. Complete tosser. Don't worry everyone could still hear Up Up Cronulla on the hill on he other side of the field.
