No injuries today? Lewis and hopefully dfiffs this week. I'm thinking it could get ugly for the panthers coming of a short turn around.

Happy to be winning and still not firing on all cylinders yet, winning without your A game in April is a good sign. Interesting selection issues coming up soon with lewy back, can't see dfifs getting a call up yet, the player causing me most stress is wadeo back to basics run straight and hard, hit n stick, his creative juices of his 5/8th days are starting to want to show themselves, surpress theses desires please.

All in all a great day for the sharkies, solid win. There performance rubbed of on me, blood pressure didn't rise , beer was enjoyed ( not used as a sedative) and the dragon looked beautiful. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

What a day, even got out of the car park with no delays and no traffic for the drive home.

Managed to catch the game live on the NRL Pass Telstra are supplying for free with their mobile plans... Way to go Telstra!

The game was a perfect storm. Our forwards rolled on, over and through Canberra. The play the ball speed was phenomenon, metres excellent and enthusiasm abundant.

Off the back of that momentum our backs ran riot. With options absolutely everywhere, Canberra just couldn't shut them all down. Barba, Ennis, Maloney, Townsend, Bird, Fifita... Prior! There was blood in the water with every touch in the Raiders' red zone, and with a few in ours!

Defensively it was the best of yesterdays Sharks. Somehow we've managed to open the backs up while keeping that steel from the 'grind em out' mentality. What a cracker of a combination!

Sitting second on the table you'd have to say it's a pretty fair representation of how the Sharkies compare to the rest of the comp. Perhaps still not up to the dicipline or individual brilliance of the Broncos, but arguably the most complete Sharks side we've seen since the 90's.

If we can stay injury free, forgot the power bill and keep that porch light on people...

Scary thing for me is out attack is still a bit clunky at times yet we're the third best attacking team in the comp! I still think there's plenty room for improvemet. Case in point was Val's try in the corner where we had a huge overlap. We passed it through the hands, flat footed, like you see from an under 12's side. I think we would have stuffed up what should have been an easy try if that was against Brisbane or Parra.

Very encouraging all in all though.

clunky is definitely the in word atm lol but I have to agree with what your saying.....in years gone by we would have butchered that try

Maloney making the most metres of any player yesterday, make him a prop :p

I thought he was going to get run down for a second on that last long run.

One thing I liked about yesterday was besides one set, our set after scoring a try was good. We charged up the field and kicked to the corner and made the raiders work it out from deep in their half. It's so important to make sure that the first set after scoring points is a good one and I thought we did it well yesterday
