Dragons by themselves on top of the table. Yuck.

Credit where it's due though, they got their recruitment right, they've had a bit of luck with injuries and they're playing very well. Begrudgingly, good for them.

Diving Slater causes uproar

Champion fullback Billy Slater has come under fire for his diving tactics to trick the umpire and award penalties for the Storm.
Slater has stumbled and fallen to the ground on several occasions despite their being minimal, if any, contact.
The moves have drawn the ire of many fans and commentators around the league with the Sunday Footy Show panel calling for the moves to be cut out.
As footage of Slater from Friday night’s game against the Knights played, the four person panel were all quick to slam the star player.
“That’s ridiculous, that’s happened twice,” Brad Fittler said.
Former Jillaroos playmaker Allana Ferguson was less forgiving on the Storm fullback.
“That’s something we need to cut out of our game, it’s rubbish to watch,” Ferguson said.

The fallout from the play came in thick and fast on Friday night after Slater drew the penalty.
It’s the second time this season Slater has tricked the referee into awarding the penalty in favour of the Storm.
His first incident came in a match against the Cronulla Sharks when he appeared to trip over back-rower Luke Lewis who was sent to the sin bin for the penalty.
Lewis didn’t argue but the commentators didn’t agree with the decision, suggesting Slater may have made the incident look worse than it was.
“Come on, that’s embarrassing,” Braith Anasta said in commentary for Fox Sports.
His colleague, Knights legend Danny Buderus, laughed as he chimed in on the moment that saw Cronulla reduced to 12 men.
“He’s a genius, Billy,” Buderus said.
Channel Nine’s Phil Gould wasn’t willing to buy what Slater was selling.
“Well he didn’t’t do much Luke Lewis, I think Billy Slater may have milked that,” Gould said.
If he keeps up the dubious tactics, expect more and more backlash to follow with it potentially becoming what the star playmaker is associated for.

I'd love to see the media run with this over the week and put pressure on the NRL to make a change.
Sin bin Slater for milking if he does it again.

They need to put a stamp on it. Bird tried a quick tap and baited a guy to grab him last night. Keep rewarding that **** with sin bins and coaches will take advantage

I think if you win the toss these days it's worth opting to receive the ball.

The refs seem to nail the defence with a penalty in the first set.

Tiges are playing great.
