Judge Brett Finch is unbiased. Just like Gary Belcher in a raiders game.

To be fair I thought he was Melbourne's best in a scrappy game. Sharks were never going to get all 3 votes. Deserved 1 point.

Fair enough mate, but I think some of his forwards were better. The big guy Nelson, dropped a few but he was always a handful. Also McLean when he came on was powerful and always bent the line and was hard to pull down.

Watching the match yesterday, thought that was a top effort by the boys yesterday. Very tough conditions to play in so of course their were always going to be a few handling errors. It was a top notch performance otherwise compared to last weeks. Very good to keep Melbourne tryless aswell. I think Cronk may hate playing us, we always seem to pressure him so bad on his kicks & come so quickly off the line, I think that's where half their errors came from aswell. This match up I think is turning into a heated rivalry quite quickly, both teams going at it each other all match.

Also, sorry if this has already been asked but is it just me or has Holmes lost a bit of his speed & put on a bit of strength aswell or is it just his calf injury that is still healing?

Sounds like you put in a big effort to get there. Not much you can do when the universe conspires to send you home, apart from getting chips and hotdogs to add a bit of the live game vibe. Feeling hungry now.

Promised the kids if gal calls quits this year we will get to his last home game..

hahaha well played! If the Mrs has any gripes you're happy to ditch it but don't wanna let down the kids. After all a promise is a promise.

You've come up with some fathering advice gems, vic. You should write a handbook for new players. One of my faves was not telling anyone Monday Night Footy was done with and replaying an old game to get out of netball training.

On the game yeah Storm made a lot of errors but I reckon 8/10 were off the back of the pressure from us. Our line speed was great and if 1 man (Prior or Wade) flew out the line they hit and stick. Cronk will have nightmares about Wade he absolutely owned him. I also love how at halftime there was a bit of lip from Cronk and next thing he's got Maloney, Graham and Gal on him like a pack of pitbulls giving him a serve and he drops his head and sooks off.

The more often we bring that mongrel mindset the more often we'll win. That **** often enough and at the right times could see us do the unthinkable and go back-to-back. Lots of footy to be played yet though but its good to see that determined character and willingness to grub it out is still in them after the GF. A side still bathing in premiership glory doesn't instigate that sort of **** fight and come out the other side on top.

Actually, for nearly almost of that they put the blame on themselves. Impressive.
