Barba's little jig away from McDonald was incredible. Can;t think of many players that would have the awareness to pull that off whilst on the fly.

I was yelling at the video ref just to give the try based on the merit of play from Barba. Turns out he listened because it was a knock on everyday of the week.

Well no, but chad then moved to the other side of the field, Beale comes on and bird gets pushed out and then Lewis goes off and Paulo goes on the edge, so it does change a lot.

Yeah but we lost all our momentum when Maloney came off. Chances are high that if Maloney stays on we keep peppering them down the Titans end of the field, the Titans have less chances on our line and the goal line defence is then less of an issue.

Problem is it's been happening for more than this game so it's not a legitimate excuse. The issue goes deeper than a player or two being off the field imo.

We're very fortunate in that we haven't played a team at the top of their game so far this season. If we continue to defend like that we will get a big score put on us at some stage.

Agree we need to improve . But they really only breached our defense once to score . Can't count the intercept or when Lewis was concussed ..Even the one other try was just because of a fatigued Gal.

Chad's pass was stupid and he should have had the vision not to throw it. And the other two were very poor attempts at tackles by 1 guy who is starting to make a habit of it and the other who just got lazy

Like I said we need to make teams work harder to cross our line. We've let in far to many easy tries this year and it's going to cost us if we don't start to improve it.

Agreed. Chad will be better for it, at least it didn't happen in the semis or a game where it really counted.

Exactly. People complain we can't score points, now we play like a team who is fearless and yeah a silly pass went astray and it cost us, but if the pass finds a shark we had a huge overlap and probably score.

I'm a fan of the Chadster but that was a very reckless pass in any situation other than if you're desperately chasing points late in the game. Was terrible.

Finally got a chance to watch the game. Disappointed we didn't win by a lot more but relieved to win under the circumstances.
As others have said, first and last 20 minutes were great but in between was messy. The loss of Maloney was significant and I'm sure now other teams have taken note of how we handle things when he's off the field. Chad didn't quite step up but I'm sure he learned a bit from the game.

Fifita was immense. You'd almost have to say we don't win that game without him. He was so hard to tackle.
I've never been a Prior fan but he ripped in today. He hit hard in defence and stopped a few in their tracks. Inspiring.
I thought Bird handled the switch to 6 OK. He's such a strong runner of the ball and he's getting great with one on one tackles.

We could have easily lost this game, but somehow we fought and held it all together. That's a good sign.

We have to take the positives out of this and re-group for Canberra. They will be very tough and any win there will be welcome. But when you're a top 4 team you need to win these games.

That jig was a thing of beauty. Not many players who can wrong foot someone like that to make them go ass up.
