You must of read my mind Egg. Was just going to type “Not too shabby”. Be interesting to know how many minutes he played in each of those games. I reckon he is a chance this week.
Never mind. I just found the minutes played at the bottom of the page.....duh....

Sitili Tupouniua is expected to be ruled out due to concussion, according to The Daily Telegraph. That would mean Nat Butcher starting on the right edge and Daniel Suluka-Fifita returning from suspension on bench.

Some funny name combos getting around this year.

Knights lineup has had Best, Mann and Mann, Hunt
Eels bench has Stone, Smith
Chooks had Butcher, Baker on the bench. Sadly no Candlestick Maker

Sharks need to get in on the action and give Pele a run with Ronaldo

Just thought I'd bump this thread with some actual footy talk.

All the conversations seem to be about us going for Adam Reynolds and retaining Bomber which I think we've all discussed to death now.

So onto this week's game.

I can't see any major changes to our 17 so I think that's what Bomber will go with.

There is no doubt this is going to 100 times tougher than last week. Yes the Roosters are down on troops but they still have quality in their side and they can hurt you with guys like Teddy and they still have a strong forward pack.

Our hope lies in getting on top in the forwards, putting pressure on Sam Walker and shutting down Teddy. None of that is easy of course.

All the pundits are tipping a Roosters win, and that's understandable I guess but I think it will be closer than most people think.

Here's hoping we can get the job done and cause an upset.

They have the fire power to blow us away if we aren't switched on.
Errors, penalties, lapses all can be punished.

But between the two teams injury reduced rosters I can still see us being able to put in a competitive game if we keep **** ups to a minimum

We have some sort of chance against the Roosters but slippery, agile players with good footwork like Teddy we usually don't handle all that well around the ruck. Teddy running near Jack W, Billy, Rudolf, ect really scares me

Biggest test of our defense thus far across the whole park in season 2021

We’ll win this simply because we can’t keep losing to top 8 teams. Eventually we’re going to beat one.

On form this year we’re doing no worse than the chooks, and our defensive effort against the eels was outstanding in the circumstances.

I'm trying to change my ways egg. Being more positive all round. Much more healthy that way.
If we get beat, so be it. :)

Good onya Chad .
Hope our optimism gets rewarded this weekend

So apparently we haven't won here since 87. Not sure how many games we have played there though.

The Bermuda rectangle..
Can we at least try our luck with kicking a few along the ground to topou, hoping the giraffe bending down might hopefully fluff a couple.
