I won’t be watching this one, we’ll be out at a friend’s place having dinner.

I’m not unhappy at all, I think we’re going to get lapped in this one and you just watch Val get a hat trick.

That would very probably make him this season's top point scorer. Along with top in assists, second for goals... Sigh...

I'm torn between whether I think it will be the Val to destroy us narrative and the Moylan/Johnson combo to fire (but then be dreadful for the rest of the season) narrative

Cool of JT13 to refuse to play if his Tonga mate can't though

Just flicking through Instagram and saw the pics of the players from training and thought "who the **** are these guys?" Am I alone on this?

Moylan been a dud for us. He showed some good skills in the first halve against tigers, but after that went it went south for him.

SJ and Tracy has some potential and maybe down the track Tracy (cyclone) and Trindall (tricky)

Good feeling about this game now. A bit of a shake up and a few blokes obviously looking at call ups who would be bursting a for for a shot.

Plus, with Lolo out now it evens things up with Chad missing...

I'd say we are well in front on that scenario.

Ok, after cracking the sads Saturday afternoon and not watching another game of footy, like a true sharks supporter I have now made peace and with no social life will find myself in front of the tv Saturday night, interested how this plays out really need a backs to the wall win. Looking at the draw every chance two of titans dragons or dogs will sit above us on the ladder. Whilst far from convinced moza/sj is the ideal combo I’m willING to give it a roll of the dice. Been awhile since we won up there.

no JT13 and no morgan - we should be winning this game

on paper our side ****s on theirs from a great height, we beat a stronger side 42-16 last year

need sj to stand up and play both sides of the field or we will be the same one dimensional side that is closed down to easily

On paper our side shat on Wests as well.

Really hope you're right but I don't have much confidence.

we are a lot closer to wests than the cowboys, wests are a decent side

and we had them, coaching let us down

like, i am legit fuming at how poorly we were coached on the weekend

Good aggression
Will be interesting

very good aggression imo. Loves hurting blokes when in attack and defense.

He's mostly an edge forward so not sure what the plan will be.

Suppose if Moylan can play in the middle then so can Talakai

I think we're seeing Bomber dip his toe in the talent pool. Our current pack should be putting in a big effort to lock down their spots.

Looking forward to seeing Talakai rip in. He was a stand out performer for the Jets. Congratulations to him.

For the Cowboys, I'm looking forward to seeing Tom Gilbert debut. He's been killing it in the lower grades too.

I like Talakai's body shape for this new faster game. Strong, fast , low centre of gravity.
