Hard to get excited about this game after last night. We are a different team at home and melbourne are due for a loss. Still not confident on a win here but hopefully a much improved performance..

Sharks starting favourites at $1.70. I expect that to even up pretty quickly. Storm $3.25 1-12 is a good bet

To show improvement over last year we needed to beat either Manly or the Storm in rounds 3 and 4.

The pressure is on! Let's get it done.

I hate Monday night footy when we are involved. Our record on Mondays is a disaster and having to wait all weekend to watch us lose is hopeless. Was that 13 away Monday games in a row we have lost?? If so that would be close to the worst in the comp. Up there with our record at Brookvale!

Can't see a win here, Melbourne like manly just have our measure and know exactly how to beat us even when we're in good form and they are out of form. Just hope some of the deficiencies in our game are worked on and its just not more of the same.

Melbourne produce similar performances week in week out which makes them a difficult side to beat. Our long kicking game needs to be perfect and line speed to halt Proctor and co needs to be spot on. No doubt the side named today will be cut and paste but i'm praying that Bird is Ok for this week and that perhaps Beale can have a crack instead of Ricky.
Straighten the attack would be a nice start and ask a few questions at least with ball in hand

They are far too organised. When scores were level in their game against NZ on the weekend you just knew they were going to win. Their set plays on their right will destroy us.
