I wouldn't say I am a shark-nerd-savant, he has been named on extended bench if reserve is what you mean by extended bench. He has been playing Canterbury Cup and Jets had a shaky start and now in finals. You have to have played x games (can't remember number) to qualify to play finals to prevent NRL teams that did not make finals from stacking their Canterbury Cup side with NRL players. With only 2 rounds remaining and max 4 finals games, unless we have any injuries it will be unlikely he be named in the 17 from here especially when Moylan returns. Let alone the fact he is leaving us, therefore unless necessary then unlikely.

The number is 8, but it is not black and white. If you've played more games in NSW Cup than NRL you qualify regardless. For example, Aaron Gray won't play 8 NSW Cup games this year but will qualify with 6 NSW Cup games and 5 NRL games.

Flanagan is a special case and the Sharks will need to get permission/clearance for him to play. If he plays for the Jets this weekend he will end up with 7 and 7. Rudolf should also qualify after only 3 lower grade games because he hasn't played NRL.

Is this the final home and away rnd for the ressies?
Otherwise if there is also next week then surely Jnr plays 8 and 7 which means he should auto Quali.

Hopefully Feki does get to do a lap
Of honour. Been a legend for the club going out as one of the sharks greatest wingers.

does anyone know what our biggest crowd attendance is?
Could that be beaten this Sunday for gals final home game?

Ground record is 23500 ish back in 99 Anzac Day vs Drag queens - literally standing room only everywhere. Ground capacity is now a lot less. Paper today is saying sold out at 17500?

Yeah that's rubbish. We had over 20,000 in 2017.

Doubt capacity has dropped that much in two years.

Forecast for Sunday is 21 degrees and sunny. Not really any excuses for not going if you have a ticket.

Yep. This is the final week. He will finish with 7.

Note too that the eligibility restrictions only kick in once the NRL team stops playing. Any Sharks player can play for the Jets in week 1 finals (same weekend as NRL rd25) and if the Sharks make the 8 that extends to week 2 finals, and so on. If/when the NRL team is eliminated the players selected the following weekend must meet the eligibility criteria.

The question for Kyle (and Blayke) is not so much whether he is eligible, but whether Bomber would prefer to keep his backup spine players in cotton wool.

Club has announced it as a Sell Out.

Should be a great atmosphere, hopefully it revs up the players
