I was working today unfortunately so i missed the game but I saw the final result after, I missed Lewis' final home game & Kyles debut, how did Kyle go in general? Was he solid, good enough for the future anyone think?

Williams or Flanno? Which do you think is "more NRL ready"?
Was Williams a chance for an NRL debut?
He is the more natural 5/8 of the 2 isn't he with Jnr the more natural 7?

Kyle is a 7 only. He is a game manager with a very good passing game, not much of a running game, and a kicking game that needs work all around.

Jack can play either spot equally well and has also played some hooker in the past. He has a good running game, an excellent short passing game, a good short kicking game (including bombs) but not much of a long kicking game. He is a very good defender.

Williams is not in the top 30 so no chance of an NRL game unless there is an injury (NRL teams need special permission to call in players from outside the 30, but if they need a player for a specific position it is usually granted).

Jack is a better player right now - but NRL scouts obviously see something in Kyle in terms of game management and being able to push a team around. He needs time though.

Personally I think Jack will go on to be a Blake Green type of player (rated by very few early on and will change teams a few times to get a start but will be a solid NRLer by the time he is 25/26).

Played 7 with Chad at 6. Solid and quiet debut. Made 1-2 nice contributions in attack; good defensively; didn’t do any kicking; gave up a couple of penalties for holding down; owes Wade a carton far an awful hospital pass.

In other words he did it easy then haha?
That wasn't in reply to your post just referring to the game.

Flanno Jr did okay. Wouldn't like to be going into a finals series with him as a half but he didn't let anyone down. His role was very simple and we looked a bit clunky early. He passed to Wade too much in the first part of the game then started to play a bit more after he gave Wade a hospital pass.

There were a few ill-timed passes. I think the constant pace of first grade defence caught a bit off guard.

But solid enough and glad he broke a game in this year.

Yep. People were actually worried about this game.

Dunno why HB, it’s not as though we have form for losing games or to teams near the bottom of the ladder & letting them put 33 points on us............

Seriously, I was very confident we’d Win but I wasn’t convinced we’d do a good enough job to help our F/A, for me, we have let in too many soft tries in games for the past two seasons, luckily for us, the Dragons come to the party to help out F/A differential with them.

Wasn’t easy for a while buddy. They put up more of a fight then you thought they would. We just finished strong when they had enough.

But yes. She was delighted. ;)

Game was never in doubt for a second. And I mean that

Nice little potshot at me there. Your a classy guy. You know we haven’t been putting lower teams away lately. First time in a while we’ve done it properly, and they hung with us for a half so we didn’t have it all our own way. Very happy we ran over them.

Maybe not to that extent, although they hung with us for a bit. It wasn’t the smashing you were spruiking, not until late in the 2nd half at least. Happy we got ended up running over a team for a change.

Mate my talk about smashing teams is tongue in cheek, I thought that was obvious.

Ah so good to see Edrick have a kick.

it was and he had a good chuckle with the crowd running back after lofting it through

I think Lewy would have taken that kick if he was on the field. He was subbed on on for the last few minutes but we had already crossed for the try so I don't think he is allowed to take the conversion
