Danger game. These guys can hurt us. Hope our boys are switched on. As it’s turned out, results have gone our way in our games and others in recent weeks and we’ve got ourselves back in a position to challenge for the top 4. This game is essential. Lewys farewell should provide plenty of motivation for our blokes as well. Knights are a dangerous team but we’ve got too much to play for. Sharks by 10.

Good to see Edrick back.

I didn't see the Knights' game on the weekend v Warriors. Did they play OK?

They played the panthers, won 20-12, Penrith looked ordinary, and the Knights forwards got a good roll on..

Ponga is bloody dangerous, and floats around the field like a 2nd fullback, even though he was playing 5/8th. Pierce's kicking game (other than kick out on the full) was on point.

:lmao:lmao:lmao just stop, seriously. Willing to wager you sleep with a night light if you're scared of this lot.

LOL **** off ya knob hahaha. They’re not as bad as your making out they are. You know what we’re like in games that we’re expected to win. Nothing wrong with not being a cocky bastard about these guys. ;) ;) :inyouget

Yeah that occurred to me as well mate. People can say what they want about him, but he deserves a good send off.

They're not as bad as they have been in recent seasons but there is only 5 or 6 consistent first graders in that starting 13.

They’re running 11th as well, they’re not exactly the worst team in the league.. We’ve lost to a few of those teams below them I’m pretty sure. People were cocky and carrying on before the Manly game and look what happened. None of our games are sure things mate, you know that.

Manly are different we have some bizarre thing where we just go to **** against them.

I think we could run at 50% and trample over that Knights side. Simply holding the ball and going forward should do the trick.

Well you have your opinion (we’ll smash them) and I have mine (we should win but we gotta be switched on)
I think it’ll take a bit more then what your saying but agree to disagree.

Also looking at our other games against bottom sides. All of them have been tight as in 1-6 points in it, apart from the other Newcastle game, where they were missing a stack of players including Pearce. (Pretty sure that’s the only one unless I’ve missed one). So in my mind, I’m not counting on a bloodbath on Sunday. Can it happen? Obviously yes and it would be ****ing lovely if they did, but it’s no sure thing.

I never said we'd smash them or it'd be a bloodbath. I just disagree its a danger game and that they could hurt us. We should be able to get past them without hitting top gear, I believe holding onto the ball and making our tackles will be enough. Our forwards are just on a whole other level to their's that with even the most basic, conservative play we ought to dominate meterage and come out on top.
