im expecting ev to have a bloke in a raiders jumper sitting next to him this week

Yep. He had a Knights fellow sitting next to him at the Knights game. Absolute moral he'll have a raiders fan tucked away somewhere. :p

EDIT: Actually just realised mate you were talking about me. Don't forget I'm a bit slow.

I actually won't be there and I'm not happy about it. But a very good mate of mine has a daughter turning 21 and her party is on that night in Campbelltown so I can't get there. My mate's a Sharks fan too and he can't believe he stuffed the dates up!

A party starts when Chad gets there not before, go to the game no need to get to the party too early, lob in there .9ish..

Hey Cronulla Boys and Girls,

We are some Raiders fans who are coming up for the match. Unfortunately your stadium in notoriously hard to get grandstand tickets to especially as you are going so well. We have some GA tickets but if anyone knows of any spare grandstand seats that are not going to be used, say you have some of your group that can't make it, we would be more than happy to give you some money (within reason) for your seats.

Really excited about this game. It has been so long since our club has been in this position and playing the big games. When you consider that two years ago we played about this time of year for the wooden spoon, it is fantastic where we both are now.

Anyway, if someone has something, send me a PM other wise enjoy the game.

All sorted. Some more tix became available in the Peter Burns stand. Good luck for Saturday.

All of a sudden I feel much more confident about a win. I'm predicting sharks to fire up this weekend, start the charge to the finals

Maloney got off. Stoked to be wrong about that. We'll win this well.

He shouldn't be too hard on himself. How would he have known 21 years and 9 months ago that the Sharkies would be playing Saturday night? ;)

Will need a big change in attitude from last week to knock over a keen raiders squad. Better be up for it from the start.

They'll get a lot of purchase out of the forward pack / big backs if we aren't.

Was looking at the table - the importance of this game for us i didn't see at first.

If we win this game we have a top 2 spot sewn up.

Currently 8 points clear of the Raiders (with a 70 point differential gap) a win making it 10 points with 4 games to play for each - they can't pass us.

The Cowboys on the other hand we are 9 points clear of. If we win and they win 9 points clear with 4 games to play.

Unfortunately being a 5 day turn around and playing golden point, you could excuse us being a bit flat.

Hopefully we come out with our arse on fire knowing that we lockup a home semi.

This game is important for the not only the ladder but just to reaffirm how dangerous we are in this competition.

We've been a bit off the last few weeks but could you blame us playing some pretty poor opposition, we just wanted to score points and breeze through games.

Going back to our game v the storm, broncos and cowboys we played out of our skin, that's the sharks side I expect to show up this week.

Raiders are third and we need to treat them like the 3rd best team in the comp, if we don't we will get our pants pulled down.

Short turn around after a golden point game is tough but i think they will be up for this game.

I don't really believe too much in that, because come week 1 of the finals i don't think what happened 5-6 weeks ago means dick.

Just like what happened the first time we played them means nothing come Saturday 5:30.

I do however care that we ensure we finish top 2 and have a home semi.

I would like to see us really get into the grind this week and improve discipline and completions. The raiders scored a whole lot of points last week but most were from individual plays rather than set pieces. If are clinical with the 1%rs they will implode and give us plenty of opportunities.

This.
And also locking our top 2 spot in im sure will shed some weight of our shoulders if there were any doubts that this form would die down.
Grind out a win, assure a top 2 and we can play our free flowing football stress free, and stock pile that momentum again right in time for the finals.
