Just hoping we don't get ambushed like last year. If these ice addicts north of the border get an early try or two, might be a rough old night for us. Control the ball early, keep them down their end with smart kicking and some fire and brimstone from our forwards, we control those things, they will tire early.
Agree, if we can go set for set with them for the first 20 mins or so my confidence will grow. Although there was a step change in our structure this year and signs of us being a more adventurous or attacking team at our core we still seem to shine in the grind and if that's where the game is taken there won't be much in it. Unfortunately Cowboys have a knack of clutch plays in tight games but playing in Sydney is a big advantage and could be the difference.
The Sharks can actually be really adept at shutting down big power forwards and playmakers, so Flanno bringing the right gameplan and preperations will be key
Despite our uncanny ability to mount a comeback and come up with points when needed if we leak early points I will be dropping bricks, let's not give them anything and let's not wait and hope it just starts to click. Work our way ontop and keep in that way for as long as is possible and tough it out when the momentum changes. Let's convert our chances, we know we can create them.
We have been winning games nearly all year on the back of 40 min or single halve performances, get that intensity and quality for a full 80 and we are really good chance
