NRL streaming from their website does not work outside Australia or New Zealand without $100 subscription fee.

Jeez, 100 bucks.... I'm gonna be in Canada for a month in july and I'm while I'm there I'm missing 5 Sharks games and SOO 3. I knew NRL.com streamed games for people overseas but I didn't think it be that much. I guess if it's a subscription fee you could watch every game in the season but I only want to watch 6.

Watch NRL LIVE!

NRL on LIVESPORT.TV is your OFFICIAL online broadcaster for Australian rugby league and has been created in partnership with the National Rugby League (NRL).

As the online broadcaster in your country* you can be confident of enjoying high quality streaming, reliable content and match commentary.

As there are complex rights broadcasting deals globally, we cannot guarantee which matches we can Live Stream more than 1-2 weeks ahead of time. We suggest you check back weekly to see which matches have been confirmed and scheduled for broadcast online here via LIVESPORT.TV.

The below online broadcast information is a guide only and is subject to change without notice.

- Australia & New Zealand are restricted territories and unable to view NRL content on LIVESPORT.TV

- The United States will receive 6-7 matches per week as a Live Stream, while all matches will be available as Full Match Replays and Highlights

- France and Brazil will receive up to 7 matches per week as a Live Stream, while all matches will be available as Full Match Replays and Highlights

- Countries in Africa, Asia**, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland will receive 1-2 matches per week as a Live Stream, while all matches will be available as Full Match Replays and Highlights

- The Middle East and Pacific are generally restricted territories and will not receive Live Streams, while all matches will be available as Full Match Replays and Highlights

- All other territories outside those mentioned will receive Live Streams of all NRL matches, while all matches will be available as Full Match Replays and Highlights

If you have specific questions on territories please email our Customer Services team: customerservices@performgroup.com

Step 1: Choose your subscription type

$99.99 : Annual repeating subscription to NRL This Channel Gives You Access to LIVE NRL Games
$19.99 : Monthly repeating subscription to NRL This Channel Gives You Access to LIVE NRL Games
$9.99 : 7 Day Pass to NRL This Channel Gives You Access to LIVE NRL Games

The subscription is the same no matter what country you reside in which also seems unfair.

I lived overseas playing footy for a while. I have found the 'pirate' networks the best way to catch the game. I say this, however you have to be careful of these sites. One wrong click on some of these pop ups and who knows what you are exposing yourself to.

Sharks games from time to time can be difficult to stream on these sites to watch, particularly in recent years where their games haven't exactly been, well the game of the week per se.

From other experience i have found in North America you should try for the very specialist sports bars, they can tend to cater for you provided you suss out the network. There tends to be one in every city. Tweet to David Nui, he might be able to assist.

My best recommendation is trying to get in touch with any local footy clubs, they are always happy to assist and make a friend who is a fan of the game!

No. Highlights only. Any request for complete games sends browser to the nrl livesport.tv site.

I'm not actually complaining about this, I know the NRL have to limit their online content because the rights have been sold to Sky Pacific and other companies that broadcast on their networks. Just discussing OP's initial query.

I get more live games on 'free tv' than you guys :p

no its not, there's full games there. See

Otherwise go to NRL website, then Video, League TV, sends you to Bigpond Video where you can go through sport menus to the NRL matches. The full matches are there.

Samshark, not looking for an argument, but what country are you in?

I understand that for you when you go to that link you can watch all the videos listed. This thread is about other countries and in this one, while they are listed, they are not available when clicked on.
