I think it's come about as a result of Origin. Nicho won't be the long term 7 for NSW but could be the 6
I think it’s come about because Hynes could make a better 6 then 7 and people are now looking past the hype and seeing the realities of him as a 7

Even the one eyed Sharks fans

I love Hynes, I'm happy to have him in the team. However, he's 6, not a 7. He would be so much better with an organizing half in the team.

He’s a 5/8, not a half, been saying it for long time too. Whether trindall is the right 7 for him I don’t know. But hynes should accept what his strengths and limitations are and roll with it.

Wanting to be the ‘man’ like cleary and Dce is all good but easier said than done. Some just don’t have it.

Just with Cleary

Can we convince him that Mary Fowler is an avid Sharks supporter and will only keep seeing him if he moves to the Sharks on a budget deal?

There were some fair criticisms of his game in Origin 1, but crikey there were a fair share of unfair criticisms.

What strikes me as baffling though is Luai is perceived to have a good game. I thought at best he and Nicho had good moments and bad equally.

If Moses was fit for game one, Hynes would not have been chosen. The only hope for Hynes after Moses was injured was for NSW to win game one, the rugby union rooster saw to that not happening.

Only hope for Nicho to play in a Blues jersey again is if he wears the 6 jersey and plays on the left edge as a 5-8 for sharks. Numbers and positions in the halves matter if you want to be considered at rep level. He will always be stuck behind Cleary, Moses and Reynolds... And probably Luai, seeing that he's going good at 7 and will be Tigers no.7

Now the question becomes do Fitz and Hynes make the change or do they stick and think they can work with a system/set-up that hasn’t worked for the Sharks nor Hynes
