I don't feel we're on the cusp of a prem nor do I feel we're lightyears away but things can change quick in footy, for better or worse.
Yeah agreed. I'd like a season with relatively few injuries to actually see what we can string together. Particularly in the pack.

I'll tell you one thing - whether he plays or not Meninga will treat him better than Fiddler. Great confidence boost.

Shadowing DCE and learning/practicing how the Aus team want a 7 to play won't hurt his development either

Ahead of who?
Didn’t really look at a line up before commenting, but Queensland strikes me as a system that rewards form. Personally couldn’t see them using a dally m winner as badly as NSW have.

Waits for Benny barba didn’t play origin calls*

No chance he's picked ahead of DCE and Munster to start....or Hunt/Grant on the bench.

Not happening.

This will help him shake off the demons of two failed finals series and the origin debacle.

There is a documentary around on Disney and possibly Kayo called "Four falls of Buffalo". It covers how Buffalo made four superbowls in a row and lost them all. It's an incredible story, I highly recommend watching it wether you like NFL or not. It made me think of the sharks last two seasons. This idea that falling short at the last hurdle is worse than not making that hurdle at all.

Good morning from the Bathurst 1000 by the way. I moved out here 18 months ago. The racing week starts today culminating in the big one on Sunday. For the next four days the house will sound like it's surrounded by a swarm of bees. Feel the serenity.

That’s like moving next to an airport and complaining about the noise 🤣

Ha! I'm not really complaining, just sharing. I moved from inner sydney so compared to Sydney traffic the bathurst 100 is like a babbling brook. When they're not racing, which is the vast majority of the time, I walk my dog up the top of the mountain. Great views.

I love Bathurst raceweek, wish I could afford to go every year.
