It’s just that we don’t know what the cap is beyond next year, so can’t put a complete offer together.

Also reckons Wilton will be staying

Be a minor miracle if we somehow keep this 17 together for years

Pretty easy to keep the basis of the team together given so many are secured for 2025 already.
The likes of Dykes, Stonestreet, Iro, Trindall and the next crop of forwards should get ample opportunity over next couple years to get some NRL games under their belts until they take over.

2023/2024/2025/2026

1. Kennedy/Kennedy/Kennedy/Dykes
2. Katoa/Katoa/Katoa/Stonestreet
3. Ramien/Ramien/Ramien/Ramien
4. Talakai/Talakai/Iro/Iro
5. Mulitalo/Mulitalo/Mulitalo/Mulitalo
6. Moylan/Moylan(&trindall)/Trindall/Puru
7. Hynes/Hynes/Hynes/Hynes
9. Brailey/Brailey/Brailey/Brailey(&youngster to take over)
11. Nikora/Nikora/Nikora/Nikora
12. Wilton/Wilton/Wilton/Wilton
13. Finucane/Finucane/Colquhoun/Colquhoun

14. McInnes/McInnes/McInnes/???

17. Graham/Williams/Talakai/Talakai

6 I've guesstimated Trindall takes over from Moylan part way through year 2024 then leaves to play 7.
8/10/15/16 Props it just felt too hard - likes of Hazelton, Tapuha, Bradbury, Fearney, Finau and more pressuring up from underneath
Finucane demoted to bench middle 2025 (or maybe starter still but less minutes)
Sorry to Snowy about the 9. Can't imagine we can afford to upgrade and he is already signed.

Only guys I have a 25 or beyond jersey to that aren't signed for at least 2025 is Dykes, Hynes, Colquhoun & Wilton. All of whom I'd expect us to extend, some imminently.

Of course, circumstances and situations change so anyone could drop off in next few years for whatever reason also.

Supposedly we are deep into talks with all 4 already with at least two being 'reported' as 'set to re-sign' or similar already. And we won't let Nicho go if we want to keep the new precinct and the ground from being razed. And then Wilton we have no depth in that position, be mad to let him go.

I think there is a very real chance we keep all four. If we lose any it would have to be Katoa and Stonestreet/Ikuvalu/Tracey/Iro/Hiroti/Taukamo can duke it out for that jersey and should be okay.

Yeah I agree, I see the other 3 staying and IF anyone would miss out it would be sione

That's why I said keeping all 4 would be huge

How so ? None of them are superstars in their positions ; barely any of them are top 5 .. pull your head in
If we are talking form, I'd have Kennedy, Ronnie, Wilton, Nikora, and Hynes all top 5 this year. Assuming left and right edge second rowers are seperated, otherwise just Nikora.

A lot of the time our players may be playing at a top 5 level but they seem to never get the same recognition as other teams, which is a blessing in my opinion

Nikora has been the big surprise packet. This is easily the best he has played. Better than when he was just hitting those magic holes from SJ

Mate you're answering a guy who said the tigers had a good team on paper last year and called my take on Burton being nothing but a boot a **** take
