seeing as this year is now over, well a few weeks back in fact, i thought id post up what i though next years squad would be.i read in the paper that sharks were looking to sign seymour and he woud be come the 25th member of the top squad but from my count he would be the 26th.also im not sure if we signed john doyle yet but heres my top squad.id rather dykes at half wit kearney at 5/8 but i cant see them changing that uness ricky stuart comes in and implicates it coz hed be the person to make changes.tell me what u think of the team.

i think we hav way to many backs but i can see cooper playin as a second rower.

its a fairly decent side u know guys... there is no reason why we shouldn't make the 8. i would have liked to see a few more forwards there but.

that line up is ok, but seymour would be better at hooker and kingston can go to the bench (by the way that is only if we do sign seymour)
you forgot Jacob Selmes, awesome prop should've played fg this year but got injured. will make fg debut next year

yeah i reckon that's a great team, but williams might be dropped occasionally for ciraldo or something. then pomeroy might also be occasionally dropped to see how stephenson or anderson go.

Looks a lot like this seasons first choice side, good on paper but.........? Also is maybe lacking depth in the forwards to cover for injuries.By the way whatever happened to Darren Mapp...vanished without trace?

Yeah, it is a good line up. However, there will need to be more intensity, desire, ticker, pride (whatever you want to call it), than the side has shown in recent years. Last year we farewelled Stevens and Peachey with a typically ho-hum effort in losing to Souths. This year we dedicate our effort to Sludge and proceed to bumble our way arse-backwards out of finals contention. Having said that, I am still unconvinced re Villa. Say Mapp, say crap.

yeh mapp got released for next year.i hav no idea why we signed him.hes sh!t.yeh i know jacob selmes is there so he may be included for one of the backs in that top 25. i think next year we wont hav the flashiest team but a team of workers.itl be interesting to see how we go mabe with a new coach aswell.i also agree that pom or hannay (who wil be awesome backup kicker for covell) may be dropped occasionaly to see how stephenson and anderson go.

i think selmes is an awesome youngster coming through and he was very unlucky with that injury. should play well with douglas, ross or stapleton

hannay killed them tonight he made a good break and a great offload was great in defence took down eric growth 1 on 1 in an tryscorring opportunity killed it!

Richard Villasanti isnt at the Sharks next year. He signed with the Tigers. Cameron Ciraldo would probably take his spot on the bench. It looks like a very promising team but the team has to have Dykes halfback and Kearny five-eight. brett seymour would offer a lot of the bench.
