watched sharkies destroy dulldogs today, and thought to myself, wade graham would be better playing lock forward in my opinion, because he doesn't really play like a 5/8, and his kicking game is atrocious. but if we move him to lock, who do we play at 5/8(disregard the fact that kelly might be back next week.)? hows about tupou to 5/8? may seem like a stupid move to some, but i think the sharks look good in attack with tupou taking the ball second reciever, then floating across field picking up hole runners. his pass to gallen today was sublime( dare i say, benji marshall like), and one several weeks ago to graham for a try was also just as good. his ball handling skills are out of this world, and i reackon , slim him down a bit, and groom him to be a 5/8. don't think i will get much support out there, but what do we think? tupou at 5/8, kelly to 1/2 for next year?

no way, graham should be in the backrow next year if he deserves it but AK and townsend/graham is the combo for this year. Toops does do some special things with the ball but I would have jez and gal at 5/8 before him and that would be in a really desperate situation like the cowboys game.

You think Graham is more suited to the backrow so you want to move a backrower to 5/8 interesting. No.

If we move Graham to the backrow Townsend or Robson would have to be half with Kelly at 5/8.

No to Tupou isn 6. I think the rotation was good today against the bulldogs. Tupou off the bench give you more quality.

As for Graham, I've been one of his harshest critics, but I think he can be an effective 6 long-term if paired with Townsend or Kelly. I don't think Porter/Graham was ever going to work because Porter plays a goo supportign role and kicks well, but doesn't create much. Graham is effective at taking on the line, and that's good if we have a 7 who can move the ball around a bit.

The main thing Graham needs to fix is his defense. His kicking game has been poor but in the last 6 weeks he's done very little kicking anyway.

I thought Graham/Townsend combined well today, so give them another shot. When AK comes back we can deal with stuff then.

Wtf, Toups is not a 5/8 at NRL.
What's the next light bulb moment; Gards to front row, Snowden to full back.

Plus I reckon your being a hard judge on Wade today, I thought he went well behind a dominate forward pack. Don't forget his bloody young, and will only get better.

they all played well today. gardner was on fire, definately the spark we''ve been missing in recent weeks. Add Kelly back in and look out!

I think when he's back however we should play him @ 5/8 and keep townsend @ 7.
drop graham back to the bench. wouldnt hurt to bring him on a bit later in the game as a ball playing backrower.

and you cut bakuya?

the answer is no

1 Gards
6. Kelly
7. Townsend
13. Graham

-Gal to second row with BUKUYA
-Toops off bench for 2nd row
-Smith off bench as prop (this should hopefully reduce the massive swings when Douggie & Snowwie are off)
