No disrespect for covell because hes a great kicker and want to see him kick goals right up to the end of his career and this thread isnt about him being replaced while hes still playing for the sharks...

But, i have a concern that when he retires which will be after next season im suspecting who will be our next goal kicker?

Have we started training a new one or will Ricky buy someone with the kicking abilities closer towards his retirement?

They should start having two kickers, even if it's a right foot / left foot combo with Covell taking the kicks from the right side of the field only.

Porter, Stapleton, Wright and Collis can all kick goals.

Supposably Collis is a sharp shooter !!!!, my guess is he would be first choice

Well thats right, we should start now for new players to try goal kicking in game situations if they are good enough at training.
I mean our seasons over we should try and work for things like this.

if he were to make first grade chad townsend, is a good goal kicker kicked all four from the sideline last week.
