A split second after scoring the match winner, Roosters prop Daniel Conn is shown here about to elbow Nathan Gardner in the back of the head. Round 23, 2010.

To his credit, after having copped a hammering from Roosters players all night, Gardner's response to this dog act was to jump in to celebration and boot the ball in to the crowd :good:.

Sharks Forever members and C9 voted Gardner a runaway Man Of The Match.

Coach Shane Flanagan was quoted after the match "He is going to be fullback for the Sharks for a very long time which is great because we haven't had one for a while."

Jamie Lyon gave away a penalty try to the roosters on the weekend for one certainly no worse than this.

lol

I fell asleep on the couch after about 5mins, and woke up as Carney was taking the first kick for goal.

My first thought was to wonder if the offence was any worse than Conn's (Is there footage any where?).

Almost perfect timing though... Missed all the decent footy Manly apparently played and then woke up just in time to watch 'em get annihilated. Ha ha

All up in your pixels
at least this one went on report

Wasn't Anasta's fault, he had eyes for the ball and was pretty much pushed in the back my Mini. Gards was in a pretty bad position though, thankfully he's a tough bastard and not a Darius Boyd.

Yeah I noticed that during the game, If Gardner stays down they get an 8 point try. Says alot about the type of guy he is that he got up anyway.

Should have been placed on report. What is the point of the video ref. They would have seen it. But we all know what type of player Con is anywat.
