Here is a pic of my granddad's cake from his 90th Birthday last September. He is a long suffering sharks fan and has been since 1967.

Unfortunatley my grandad, Jack Stuckey, passed away last wednesday 30th June 2010, aged 90 years.
He was a WW2 veteran who served in New Guinea. He loved watching & playing league and also encouraged my dad & uncles to play league with Cronulla-Caringbah & De la Salle.
When lowering his casket they played 'Up Up Cronulla' which bought smiles from all of us and the priest commented that was a first for him lol.

Sorry to hear about your granddad sharks68, and sorry he didn't get to see that elusive maiden premiership that we all dream of.

Heartfelt condolences mate... write yourself a letter today and put it aside for the day that we eventually raise the trophy.

Not that you would ever forget your Grandad but it would be really great for you to honour and remember him at that particular time. Peace.

My heart goes to you and your family my friend.
You make sure you keep your head up strong and smile each and everyday. We will all raise the trophy together and your Grandfather will be right beside you.
God Bless you.

My grandfather passed away about two years ago now. He was a Sharks fan but in his later years got dementia pretty bad and started saying that he was going for the Broncos. Poor bugger, I imagine that's a medical first.

That's really sad to hear, condolences to you and your family, and thanks for letting us know.

Without trying to be awful or divert, I'm glad at least he didn't hear about Ferguson in his last days.

Just like your grandfather, my grandfather served in New Guniea in WW2 and also liked the Sharkies. He passed away in 2002, aged 92.
Thoughts and prayers with you and your family mate.
