Yeah he needs to mature with his decision making, he is too often going for the big play on tackle 1.

He needs an old head to keep him in his place. Works great with Reynolds and in origin, and worked well in Chad’s brief Warriors stint. Without that guy he is just spray and pray.

There is an also a difference between overrated and ****.

Walsh is overrated but still good.
Fifita is overrated but still good.
Tanah Boyd is ****.

Was funny seeing him claim a try and high five his teammates after bouncing it from 2 feet off the ground.

Seems like a good moment to double down on Reece Walsh here. Without Reynolds he turned back in to his Warriors self last night against a borderline Q Cup team. Had a few positive plays but was an error and penalty machine all night.

Good player who could be great one day. Not great yet. Media talks him up like he’s Dally fkn Messenger.

I thought him pushing that pass after he made the break in the second half instead of taking the tackle was the perfect summation of him as a player.

I don't think I was overly negative, pretty fair to the player he currently is.

All good. I've never liked Walsh and keep waiting for him to drop off but then remember how young he still is.

I was just wondering really (re Walsh and Kennedy). Walsh can be anything but at the moment rocks and diamonds v Kennedy is becoming Mr Safe and Reliable with a splash of nice moments.

Walsh definitely has the potential but that is really a conversation for a different thread. If we are talking about players who get over-hyped compared to the actual value they are brining on gameday Walsh is near the top of the list.

Funny thing is he'll probably be a far more well-rounded player in 3 years but the media will be on his back for not scoring enough tries or some other thing they can come up with.
