Moimoi suspended

Not like its break news but Fuifui Moimoi has been suspended for one match following an early guilty plea on the ol' elbow to Noddy's face.

does anyone else find it a tad ironic that after talking crap about Noddy after the game, saying he stayed down etc, that he would plead guilty to this penalty?

if he knows he elbowed Nods in the face, then why is he calling a dive??

yes and no.....if he plaeds not guilty and loses he faces 2 weeks out....so its just easier to plead guilty and miss the one week

even if he did take a dive good on him.. i believe he was hit high and it deserved a penalty but im not sure if he deserved to be suspended.. and plus now i gotta find another front rower for my fantasy lol

That was no dive, look at the Telegraph today with Noddy and his shiner! All these Parra fans crying about players taking a dive when if i remember correctly last year a certain Jarrod Hayne was accused of doing the same?? Boo HOO Parrra!

If you ask me it wasn't a deliberate elbow, just height difference and he hit nods head... deserved a penalty none-the-less. It was definitely no dive either other wise nods wouldn't be getting checked for a eye socket fracture.

I don't think I've ever seen Noddy lay down unless he is genuinely hurt. I wonder if the early guilty plea means Noddy will get an apology from all the Parra players and staff who called him a diver?

I agree it didn't look too bad (though it did send Noddy for scans) but the fact of the matter is, you can't make contact with the head or else it's a penalty. The way Parra carried on you would have thought Noddy took a better dive than the Italian striker against the Socceroos in the World Cup!
The fact is Fui, you hit him high, you pay the price. It's that simple.

no no mate, there was a newspaper, or website or something, they asked Fui "do you think noddy stayed down to get a penatly" and fui said "yes i think so", not the exact words but i'll dig up the story

bloody hell i was gettin a hard time off the lads at work on monday, typical though, you're damned if you win, damned if you lose
