yeah he is a waste of space! i agree with u!

Who cares about Sullo relaly, Sharks dont need to think about dummy halves anyway, we have 2 really good ones in De Gois and Kingston and guys like Kearney can slot in as back up easyyyy

We already have two good quality hookers in our side and a few good young ones, plus some depth in our halves if we need to cover the Hooker position at anytime, glad we didnt get him.

do we have any good young hookers in the jersey flegg or premier league teams?

Hookers? I don't know! But Dummy Halves Lol:p Luke Sant (PL) and Joel Romelo (JF) are heaps good, Romelo has a bit of an 'Tim Smith/Todd Carney' attitude, but is a good footballer none the less!

Sullivan ready to make mark at Bulldogs

Michael Sullivan is keen to shed his tag as the forgotten man of the NRL when he starts only his second game this season for the Bulldogs against the Warriors on Sunday.

The form of first-choice hooker Michael Ennis and a succession of niggling injuries have limited Sullivan's first grade appearances, but with Ennis preparing for his Origin debut Sullivan gets his chance to shine in Auckland.

The 29-year-old former Cronulla rake returned to the NRL after a two-year spell in the English Super League with Warrington at the start of last season and has been forced to spend most of 2009 playing in the NSW Cup.

But Sullivan has no regrets about joining the Bulldogs and said the team's outstanding form this season has made it a great club to be at.

"I have had a couple of dramas with a hamstring which saw me miss a couple of games which has been frustrating, but on the other hand it is good to have the club going well," Sullivan said.

"Playing reserve grade footy is not ideal, but I know when I get the chance, that it is good to be able to come into a side that is going well rather than a struggling which was the case last season."

Sullivan is one five enforced changes for the Bulldogs who make the tough trip to Auckland without Ennis, halfback Brett Kimmorley and centre Josh Morris due to State of Origin commitments as well as winger Bryson Goodwin and prop Greg Eastwood.

Goodwin and Eastwood are serving two-game bans after taking early guilty pleas to dangerous throw charges stemming from Monday's 19-12 loss to Manly.

Sullivan admitted a trip to face the Warriors at Mount Smart Stadium is not the ideal game for an under-strength side, but said it was a chance for fringe players to play their part.

"It's a really good chance for the club to show what we are all about, but we know we have our work cut out over there," Sullivan said.

"But the good thing is that we are going over there full of confidence and in the NSW Cup we are top of the ladder so the players coming in like myself are feeling on top of our games and ready to go."

Bulldogs coach Kevin Moore will make a decision on who will replace Eastwood and Goodwin on Friday before the players fly to New Zealand on Saturday.

Yesterday I was at a job and ran into Michael Sullivan. I jokingly told him we need a hooker and that he should come back to the Sharks. He said he had been in contract negotiations for next year and had been trying to sign with the Sharks as he wanted to come back but they had signed Aiton and Morris instead.

I was a bit surprised by this as I though he would have been a good signing for us, especially over Aiton. What do you reckon?

Yes I think Ation and Morris will be good for us. Sully was at his best in his last year for us. His time in England has cost him.

<EDITED>

ORANGE Cyms coach Michael Sullivan made an early impression on his new teammates at a bowls day recently to welcome the former Sharks and Bulldogs hooker to town. Besides having an outstanding knowledge of the game after playing under leading NRL coaches such as Steve Folkes and Kevin Moore, Sullivan showed he is more than a handy lawn bowler, cleaning up the locals on the day.
