blame the old coaches and management !! BS. but we have to live with it, hwever look on the bright side, tupuo might ome good with TC there

We aren't as bad as the panthers. Not only has Gus blamed them, he has gone to the nrl to ask for cap concessions for what he has inherited. God, if we did that we could strengthen our side massively!

I just find it funny how he asks for a concession then signs a player a few days later

i think he means if t rex goes to the doggies, it improves our chances of signing jennings. he would more than likely be right as surely the doggies could not afford to sign both t rex and jennings

You quote me from many posts ago, regarding a conversation long gone, with four question marks.

Point?

Dunno if anyone has seen this

"Injured Cronulla Sharks backrower Anthony Tupou will remain a Shark next year and the club has ruled out making a play for unwanted Penrith centre Michael Jennings.

Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan confirmed Tupou had activated a clause in his contract that will see him line up for at least one more season at the club.

Flanagan dismissed reports that the club were unaware of the possibility that Tupou — who is recovering from a knee injury — had an option to remain at the club for a fifth year.

‘‘He’ll be here next year,’’ Flanagan said. But the club have ruled out making a bid for unwanted Penrith Panthers centre Michael Jennings.

Short on outside back depth, the club has already added Jennings’ Panthers teammate Michael Gordon for next season but have stopped short of chasing the NSW centre.

‘‘I think he is a great player,’’ Flanagan said.

‘‘But I’m not paying that much money for him.’’

Yeah Tatus, when I read that I just thought Flanno was keeping his cards close to his chest, who knows though

smoke and mirrors got to love it.. however it would be funny if he did show up next year in sharks colour and on a lesser contract that he is on.

Everything Flanno is doing at the moment makes me happy. He is a very good coach!

Blasting the media about the Smith rumour, telling everyone that we won't be paying overs for anyone anymore and then sticking to his guns and still getting one of the better sharks recruitment years.

I tell you this guy is a goodun

And also foxsports just annouced that t-rex has signed a 4 year deal with the Bulldogs, hopefully that will help us secure jennings!
