Of course we're thinking of the here and now. Gal might have 2-3 more seasons, he retires and our premiership window is closed!

How is the premiership window closed? I don't subscribe to that theory at all.

But, if you're going to think along those lines - it only strengthens the argument to keep Graham.

So you two don't think Graham is an integral part of the team now?
Huge part of the team and he is a future superstar but at present i think jennings would be enormous for us. Again this is only my OPINION. **** it lets just cheat and have them all !!

Our window is closed with Carney 28, Graham 24 and Bukuya 26? Heck even De Gois would only be 30. That is assuming we do not add any quality players around them either.. I do agree though that if we add a guy like Jennings with Gordon, Carney and our pack then it would be our best shot since 99. But I do not think our "window" is within the next two seasons. I think we've got some brighter days ahead if we plan correctly and make some good decisions.

Lets face it if we keep Carney we will always be a shot.

Gal will be coming off the bench for Cronulla well into his 40's.

He'll be like those old blokes who play A Grade and just can't give it up. Only, he'll do it to a better standard.
He'll be like Cliff Lyons on Shark Stimulation.:cheers

Imagine if we had I dunno another 420k to play with :gal:

It's the elephant in the room. And MB is riding him. Seriously, who gives a the player the option in the fifth year at that kind of money. His manager must be the best in the business.

i have been impressed with flannos recuirnment so far, although i think jennings would be a good signing. i think it is good that flanno is not prepared to pay ovewers for him

Yeh Yeh. I just gave what i think and you rubbished me. Cant i hav an opinion ??? now u turn it on me. haha laughable

You can have opinion. I just think it's ridiculous. By all means continue to argue that we should get rid of Graham for Jennings. Makes heaps of sense.

I'm not going to bother with you anymore. There is no point.

Suprise suprise but it would go down as the luckiest recruitment drive in the history of professional sport. I'll give him kudos if he manages to expand on Michael Gordon for next season.

What are the targets he needs to hit? Any further recruits? Another outside back? Another genuine NRL player?

Be specific now so you can't move the goal posts later. Thanks :good:
