a push (which was a ****ing light one at that) is nothing. the disrespect and shock of a ball being thrown at you, now thats ****ed. in front of 50,000 of whatever the crowd was, plus millions watching at home, thats just ****ed and i would do the same as bird

Small indiscretions are always the one's that start larger reactions.

Scott reacted to the push with the throw of the ball.
Bird reacted to that
Everyone else then reacted.

If you believe Scott threw the ball for absolutely NO reason... you're all blind as ****.

I still reckon we'll make a (subtle) play for him, regardless of what Flanno has said. Though admittedly I don't know our current situation with the salary cap, and I guess Toops activating his clause doesn't help.

Thaiday is the king of the 3rd man, and he has never even been spoken too.

baanya what are your thoughts of Thaiday's previous 3rd man in efforts?

Poor to be honest ! I am surprised he hasn't been sent off for it numerous time in the past especially one particular instance in state of origin last year... He comes into the scuffle like a cannonball ...

All I will add to that is I have never seen thaiday come in fists first as Jennings did... He is more of a ram raider style not that it matters ...

But to be fair, thaiday runs in and holds/pushes the opposition player he doesn't come in swinging.

i think the sin binning was wrong it had a big bearing on the game and we all want to see fights in origin no player from either team should be sinned bin.
now unforgunately i think we will be unlikely to see any fights in last 2 games as players will be concerned about being sent to the sin bin.

I'm a blue but it is an obvious sin binning when someone runs in and throws a wild punch. Fights are okay and shouldn't be sin binned imo but something like that is obvious.

No it wasn't. Bird pushed Scott over after the tackle was completed. Then Scott threw the ball at bird as bird walked away. Bird started it.

a push and a shove happens in almost every tackle, a ball being thrown at someones head does not
