A Nu hooker next year huh?

I guess Ennis knows better than anyone else how his body is holding up. Really glad that he came to the Sharks, went from hating him to loving him in the blink of an eye.

Just wrote a quick little ode in honour of our Mick.


So Ennis the Menace, you've hung up your boots
We'll soon see no more of those dummy half scoots
The niggle, the pest, all names you've worn proud
And the times when we see you play up to the crowd

There's no more passionate player I know of today
When Mick Ennis is out there he'll go out of his way
To ensure victory is taken, no matter the cost
While he's on the field, the game never is lost

From the Knights to the Dragons, the Broncos and Dogs,
You came to the Sharks to help oil our cogs
Your desire to win has been instilled in us all
15 victories in succession, you've not let us fall

No one quite knows how hard you've endeavoured
You're the link in our chain that has never been severed
Next year will be tough without you as our "9"
So many times this year you've got us over the line.

So this year lets end it in a glorious way
Send Mick Ennis out a winner, what do you say?

I just hope ennis wasn't pushed out by the club and he generally had a change of heart about going around again next year. I'd be shattered if the club pushed him into retirement
