Members round

Just got an email from the sharks saying the members round has been moved to round 15 against the warriors, we will still receive our jerseys prior to round 10

Just brought this up in another thread.

Fairly disappointed. Thought round 10 was the perfect round.

I was getting ready to make the drive up from Canberra so I could wear it while we end Melbourne's run.

Figure I'll probably still do that anyway...

i think we are in for a good chance against melbourne, if we can keep cronk, smith and slater quiet, keep our defence solid we will give them a run for their money.

i think it will be melbourne toughest match yet, we almost beat them last year until about 8 mins to go

dont know if you read my post but you will still have your jersey by round 10 (same as it was always) so you can still wear it for the same amount of time, this does not affect that

I don't understand why you won't be able to wear it? You still get it Rd10. You were always were going to get it Rd10. What has changed that will not allow you to wear it?

Nor do I understand why Rd10 is a more deserving Rd than Rd15? What's the difference?

dont blame blades, we are still wearing the hoops jersey under the terms of our sponsorship agreement with fishermans friend

Why couldn't we have the members jersey sent out prior to round 10 anyway?

Seems ridiculous paying $200 for a jersey I don't get to wear for the opening 3rd of the season. Instead I'm going around giving Hisense a free plug from last year.

I know the NRL wanted it to coincide with members round, which is fine the players don't wear it till then but fans like a jersey to wear, especially when their team is winning which we obviously are.

I think what he meant is that he hasn't be to wear it for the first 9 rounds... That's nearly 35% of this years games. It's not about not being allowed to wear it, it's about not having the opportunity.

As for Rd10 being more deserving, I think that's fairly obvious. There was a fair bit of hype over this round because it was member round and we're playing the storm (who will more than likely be still be unbeaten). IMO thats probably one of our biggest games this season and definitely bigger than Rd15. As i said though, I will still continue to wear my member's jersey round 10 either way.

Totally agree Bundy. Everyone still getting their members jersey right, before Round 10? So you'll still have your jersey, You don't have to only just wear in when the players do, you can wear this from Round 10. Pretty sure that was when Members jerseys were originally being sent?

Don't think we at all should start playing the blame game on anyone. Let's just keep on supporting the team we love & focus on positives. 6 Straight, moving onto 7th Straight then first team to beat the Storm, Now that's where the focus is at! 8 straight... so on, so on =)
