Thought he had a great game.

sorry but have to disagree.

might be the thousand beers to get me through that hot mess of a game tonight.
he still can’t kick to be an effective half.
and the only one he actually tried was on the third like a complete numpty.

While I concede he’s having a better year than previous ones.

take note, he’s on a contract year.
Has not earned his value in the team whatsoever.

I’d rather Tracey at 6 over Moylan personally.

He put in a nice kick to the ingoal after Chad ran out of options and offloaded the problem on him.

Mixed feelings about Moylan. On one hand his lack of general play kicking is a problem and his effort at times.

However he does seem to click well with Kennedy when they play expansive football.

Unfortunately our team seems to go back in their shell after making a few mistakes and revert back to the Sharks slug fest.

Dunno why people still bag him about his kicking game

Everyone knows he has no long kicking game but certainly he does have a short one

Thought he was good tonight and looked like he tried to lead the team

I agree that we know why he can't kick (dodgy hammies)- the problem is that at we need someone else who can kick.

I agree he did try harder and like I mentioned earlier formed a good combo with Kennedy.

It's good to see him on both sides of the field too.

He was very good tonight. Was a leader as well, which is rare for him. Good on him.
Have to agree with you was getting stuck in on the defensive end and I don’t think we win tonight if he is not there tonight..... Kennedy looks like a different player when playing outside Moyza

Effort doesn't necessarily correlate with good decisions. In an attacking performance that Jeff Robson would be proud of, atleast he was trying ****. Doesn't take away from it being a terrible decision.

yes correct. I thought he was ok
not as good as we want him but offers more than others.
I was just still fuming about that kick on the third, momentum then swung dragons way right after that.

I'm a big fan of putting it on the toe, especially when there are no options on the fifth (and backed up with a few guys with a pressure chase).

I reckon putting it on the toe behind the opposition line is so effective. we ended up with two repeats sets I recall.
it gives good field position and harder for the team to get if off their line.

hope that effort doesn't include the kick on the third. why the ***k did he do that.

was a classic Moylanism that moment but fortunately he has cut those brain snaps down to 1 or less a game - there was a bit of a chance on if he got the kick in but was always long odds to execute that with the defense in his face

Tracey is a backwards step in the halves , might get some kicks but half of them will be shonky, his passing game is inferior as is his defense. yea might have a bit of a running game but havn't seen that from the halves much before and Moylan has started to find his running shoes the last few weeks

we would miss tracey's runs out of our end as well even if he usually gets pole axed
