A fit Moylan playing for his career is 1000% our best fullback option for next year. Just can't see it happening

He is but I just think it is asking for trouble. I'd be looking at starting him at 6 and then can assess as season goes on.
When SJ is fit to come back then decide if we think Moylan can shift back to fb or if it just means he will move out of the team and maybe we try and find another home for him (assuming SJ comes back before mid season deadline).

If he falls down at 6 he definitely would have gone down at 1 and we can bring Tracey in to start.

Always had faith........

And how about old mate running coach... Pretty happy with himself! He'll be the richest bloke in rugby league (just off the Sharks) if he shows he can repair the likes of Mozza

He is a woeful fullback option.

5/8 is his only useful position when fit... so like never

I agree 6 is his best spot. He was good for penrith at fb though, better than any options we have anyway.

Unless we make a signing we will be deciding between Kennedy, Tracey and Trindall for a spine spot till SJ returns.

All I'm saying is the worst fullback option we have.

So Matt ends up having an incident free pre-season and starts R1 at 5/8. Manages to stay healthy and performs very well. SJ comes back.....where does Matt then fit in, fullback? bench? stays 5/8 and SJ moves to half? If he does manage to surprise us it leaves some interesting scenarios.

I feel like he’ll have a great year, just to run salt into the wounds. I’d throw him at FB if he can preform but wouldn’t entertain the idea of re-signing him, even if he was Dally M.

Boys, horse cart
Let’s get him through first 8-10 weeks first, or even littler short term goals like pre season.

OMG - he is the worst fullback ever. He is a decent 5/8 when he is actually fit enough to play.
I thought he was a good fullback in his early days at Penrith, but even his last couple of years with them, and then whenever he has played there for us, his been pretty darn poor.

This sounds like a post that should go on the Sharks Facebook pages.

He's not the worst fullback ever. Been plenty worse - Will Kennedy comes to mind without even trying.
