Great game. Moylan at fullback also gives us Dugan in the centre's which made a huge difference. Great combos

He gives us an extra halves option when he is fb, you could say when we have both Chad & Johnson back we'll have an extra playmaker to pass the ball around in Moylan. I liked his running game he brought in today. Made a nervous start to the game but overall I thought he looked comfortable under the high ball.

Actually a bit nervous about SJ returning. We've one ballplayer and call make too many. Hopefully they can all figure it when to take over and when to take orders.

If Moylan sticks to what he was doing today when we are attacking, running around behind the other half then SJ can either split him through the gap every now & then or be able to make that extra pass out the back like he did for Xerri's first try. SJ could also do a cheeky grubber in behind or a show & go himself. I'm sure they'll all work on combos when everyone returns.

Don’t get it mistaken Moylan is the absolute key to everything we do.

He is the centrepiece of our attack and puts it all together

If he was fit all season, he would be on the bench for NSW

How about when he rushed up in defence and whacked that ****, he came from about 20 metres away. Something you'd expect from Duges.

So good.

Sharks can play Barbs style attack again.
Is this team potentially better than 2016 ?

Remains to be seen if Moylan and Johnson can reach the standard of 2016 Barba and Maloney. Hopefully they can avoid iniruy for the rest of the season and build that combination.

But imagine if we had Holmes on the wing yesterday, and Ennis pulling the strings at dummy half. We'll need Moylan and Johnson to go very, very well to make up for our downgrades in the 5 and 9.

Honorable mention to Nikora for showing us there's life after Lewy!

Val (lethal winger), Ennis (the main brains), Lewis & Prior are the big losses.

Dugan/Xerri combo might be able to fix the wing issue
Jayden is solid now and Townsend way better covers a bit for the Ennis loss
Nikora is no Lewy but he is pretty good
Prior... well technically we still have him but he's nowhere near the same player, at least we have Uele to give us some bang

Could potentially match it with the 2016 side....

If Woods, Fifita, Prior and Uele are all on fire at the same time it'd have to be one of the best prop rotations of all time.

Yep that was my play of the game and it's something I haven't seen from him before. It really showed his head is in a good spot.

I am thinking the injury really refocused him. I think he was really frustrated by the injury (as you’d expect) and it’s driven him.

From all reports he worked his ass off on the hammy and it showed yesterday in his football how good he can be.
