A player could have x9 (321 votes) in a season but that might just mean that player had 3 stand out games in a season and the rest were trash but Bort made the effort to provide commentary and to expand upon the votes and provide the context which is necessary unless a player clean sweaps outright wins the 321 you know they had a good overall season. (or were best of a bad bunch)

I thought there were murmurs during Mozza's stadium seated face smirking injury seasons that he was taking the piss a bit with his rehab and wasn't a good trainer. But I might be getting confused with SJ who JMO called out as having bad attitude during rehab.
I certainly don't expect he was the best rehabber by any stretch, some guys really go above and beyond.
I'm not sure how much people appreciate goes into rehabbing. For some injuries it can be an all day thing*
In the ideal world every NRL player does the absolute best rehab they can but most of these guys (especially those who have made it mostly on natural talent) just aren't capable of doing that. It's just not realistic to expect every player to rehab, train, live their off the clock life and play to 100% every moment - and some will do better at it than others. Some are only in the NRL because they are much better at these than others.

From outside it is hard to say he did less than the expected minimum though.

*Hasting's touches on it a bit in podcast of NRL physio

I remember his first few months with us. Him (& Dugan) were hopelessly embarrassing. Couldn't even catch or pass a ball, over running/ under running plays ect.

Having your coach swapped out during pre-season probably played a part but I still think Mozza didn't earn his wage for half his intitial contract.
Are you thinking 2019?

2018 I thought Moylan was good overall and warmed well into the FE jersey. Also coach swap was for 2019 too.

The Flash Gordon award?

Thought Duges was great at centre when he joined. Just sucked at fullback, which he had to play too often because Moyza was always hurt and/or Val was playing crap early that year too.

Had the Mozza mong hands early on but yes at centre he was very strong for us and often one of our best on the day. He was on too much coin but at least he gave his all and put his body on the line (pretty much going down grabbing a shoulder or ankle after every run ha).

Shame he never recovered from that shocking game against Canterbury at Kograh and the Covid dramas. Think he just kinda gave up on first grade footy in the end (more important issues off field perhaps). His attitude fell off a cliff after playing some good hard footy for the Sharks for a few seasons.

Was so big and strong, great to watch when he put it together and formed a good combo with Val.

Still probably won't be remembered fondly though by alot of Sharks fans (and opposition fans)

I remember his debut year for Canberra. FMD he was a talented player. Always rated him and loved him at the sharks.
