Moylan was committing defenders last night.
And there were heaps of push support players too... Toby was probably out on the pull, so we had everything covered.

You did notice taht sort ofthing in this game.... the Cows were very one out and our guys mercilessly picked them off.

I think he’s still in the team because of literally just that ; it can’t be anything else

His value against the better teams has to be better but
Yeah so often it’s Moylan playing the 7, drawing in a defender or two, dishing it out to Hynes playing the 6

He does, but hes a confidence player.
When he feels good he wants his hands on the ball as much as possible
With maturity comes patience
It was interesting as last week in the presser he clearly identified it as an area he needed to work on. When Hess went to the bin he was running the ball at every opportunity and trying to force something instead of just continuing with what was working. Like you said, he'll get there. Crazy to think he's this good and still has improvement in him.

I thought his defence last night was great. He was targeted (as he should be) and got his body in front every time.

Would he continue to overplay though if he had a more dominant half alongside him?
Not a slight on Moylan, just posing the question.
I thought Dearden ran the socks of Moylan despite being in a well beaten side

Supposedly paid about the same but Dearden is on the up - in saying that, from what I have seen probably Dearden's best game all year and certainly didn't get close to winning it for them.

Moylan has consistently contributed well to our attack this year.

Dearden ran the socks off him, in the sense that his running game is much better. He was able to use that to create two line breaks and a try.

Rest of the game I think Moylan was better though.
