Play of the Game

Some Matt Moylan magic in the 37th minute opened the door for livewire fullback Will Kennedy to grab his second try of the night. Taking the ball five metres on his own side of halfway, Moylan went to the line and bamboozled Eels lock J'maine Hopgood with a show-and-go. With the cover defence closing in, Moylan found his fullback looming in support and Kennedy raced 30 metres to put his team back in front. Kennedy ran for183 metres on the night to go with three line breaks and the first hat-trick of his career.

Exactly. Trindall and Hynes halves pairing just makes sense. And offers a hell of a lot more than Moylan. The bloke can’t ****ing run, he can’t kick and his defence is dogshit. How he got a 2 year deal is laughable.
He made plenty of clean breaks tonight. One that gave Will an easy try. He is going better than ever.

Made up for last week's performance, but is it enough for when Hynes comes back?

Does Fitz look to the future with Trindall who is at that stage in his development where he needs game time?

I rather ride the ups and downs of Trindall who has shown he has the potential rather than Moylan who is on his last legs. There's a long term benefit with Trindall getting all the experience needed.

I tend to agree with this.
I assume Williams will be back from concussion protocols this week but if not I'd be tempted to run a Hynes/Tricky combo if Nicho's fit with Moyza on the bench.

Bringing him on late in the game against fatigued forwards could work well.

Or does he go with whoever he feels gives us the best chance to win because we aren’t in rebuild mode.

Trindall has been playing well, Moylan was good v Eels and had a great partnership with Hynes.

We are looking for wins now currently, we can worry about wins in the future then. Happy for Fitz to pick who he feels is best

Really clever game from Moylan. He switched up hitting his 2nd rower well, especially for that line break. The Eels had two players guess wrong and he sliced right through. Something he didn't do last week (ironically that probably helped set up his play this week!).

Moylans pass selection and mixing around his options is very good. His main strength probably.

Put Wilton over for the win round 2 v Eels last year

He still sucked hugely for his useless defence for the Eels last try - did well otherwise, but that was woeful.
