I think between Dykes, Atkinson and Puru we probably have enough halves depth not to need to bring in another one.
I'd already expect Hiroti bumps back into the 30. Even more so if Tracey leaves, but obviously someone else comes in then too.

The trick with midseason signings is it always seems to be the big clubs who land the good ones - we need to play under cap for a while but be competitive enough we are a good landing spot for someone who becomes available. If we get an injury Tracey would cover without him we may sit a couple spots lower on the ladder and then not land the available player anyway...

Hiroti coming in makes sense, I didn't realise he was out of the top 30. With Dykes fit we have fullback cover, and Hiroti will be as good in the wing/centre position as Tracey is IMO, even though we haven't seen him at centre much. He was very good in the game or games he played last year. He is a very good depth back.

Yep, probably the best article to come out of the abc in 3-4 years. Astute observations all round. He was awesome for us in 2018 and 2022! He's the best passer in the game. Was a shame he was a turnstile in defence this year. Wish him all the best in the UK
