Moss Vale covers loss of young stars

MOSS Vale Dragons have been actively seeking quality footballers in an attempt to make up for the loss of two of their brightest young players.
While they have secured the signature of Willie Macdonald and a handful of others, news of the signings has been somewhat soured by the loss of key young players Mark Delamont and Rhys Lenarduzzi.
The club’s best and fairest last year, Delamont has been signed to the Cronulla Sharks and has impressed in his short time at the club.
Delamont is eligible to play in the Toyota Cup, but the Sharks are looking at him as an NRL prospect. He has been called into the Sharks NSW Cup team which means he is only one step away from the big time.
“He is also eligible to play Toyota Cup however at this stage coaching staff believe he is capable of playing open age and he is training and playing with NSW Cup,” a Cronulla spokesperson said.
