Should we consider signing him? He is off contract and is in some good form. I know his speed may not be the best, but his experience may come in handy.

Would have to see how many ramps we have at the club, just so mad dog can get around the place on his walking frame... he is in good form but age is not on his side.

I would agree I don't think he has long in the game he seems to spend a lot of time on the sideline with long term injuries.

Not worth the risk of long term injuries etc, in my opinion.
We need to invest in the future, not step backwards.

If he could be signed for just the 09 season at the right price the younger guys would learn a lot from him, he really played a strong game v parra last night.

to old, to crap, to overrated,we need young speed and enthusiasm, not the walking wounded, he is injury prone (not barrett)

agree plus he is injury prone because he legally uses steriods so his quads have developed more than his hamstrings, out of balance means injuries

Unfortunately, Luke hasn't been very promising in NSW Cup. He has had ongoing injury and hasn't hit any sort of form this year.

I'l be suprised if he is with the Knights in 2009.

Taking a chance on Trent Barrett staying injury free is one thing, but Mad Dog??
No thanks.
