I suggest the Sharks buy Luke Burt.

We need anyone with experience at the back next year and at least he can kick goals.

I would've been keen on that 3 months ago... too late now. And I love the Cov as a bloke, its great he can have another season with us.

The Sharks have a number of blokes who can kick goals Ports & Stapo to name 2. Burt is good but I am not sure we need to spend money on him.

Burt won't be a starter in the Eels 2010 squad and he's better than anyone in our 1-5 I reckon. I'd give him a 2 year contract personally.

Burt had an absolute blinder this year.

The one player which we have ion our 1-5 which MAY be as good is Fergo.

He would be a great signing for us. Is he on the market?

So can Matty Wright, we have plenty of goalkicking options already.

Stapleton too, but are any of them any good? We get in a lot of close games even when we're going well, we need a quality kicker.

imo we have enough backs and now we have Cordoba we have enough forwards as well. I say we save our money and see who is performing and who isnt. We have a new team so if we spend all our money on backs and then Cuthbo and Cordoba end up bombing out then we have no money for a good forward. We have a full squad now so i think its time to just see what investments pay off and which ones dont.

Burt is a good player there is no doubt about that. You would think he would take up 120-150K. We could use that to top up the young blokes contracts next year if they are going well.

I just saw him at Rouse Hill Shopping Centre about an hour ago. Always amusing when you're THAT much taller than a pro-football player :)

Burt would be a good buy if he was avaliable. Not just cause of his on field work, he is a good example for young kids off the field also. If we had him i think he will give Nathan Stapleton a run for his money at fullback.

id like to see stapelton at the back. he was sick for his last 3 games and had lost 5kgs and was to sick to play the last game of the season, i belive he isnt tall enough like peachy but with last season under his belt, he will be a better man for the job.
