If you could have any one of the legends or immortals on our team today who would it be.

Heres your list
Cliff Watson, Greg Pierce, Mark McGaw, Steve Rogers, Andrew Ettingshausen, Mat Rogers, Tommy Bishop, Gavin Miller, David Hatch, and David Peachey.

Mine would have to be ET to replace simmo

You got that str8 mate, ET all the way. Stats don't lie.

3rd on the list of all time tryscorers, leading tryscorer on a kangaroo tour of England, most games for NSW ( including superleague ).

And most 1st grade games for one club in NRL/ARL/NSWRL history.

As great as ET was, he is still no match for Steve Rogers. The man could do it all. Score tries, set up tries, kick goals and was great in defence. Centre or five-eigth, he was a legend!

I'd be happy with either I was only thinking the game's changed a bit too much since the legend sludge was playing. It's only fantasy land this thread anyway.

ET for me.

Peachey and Rogers not even in the same class as the bloke.

The others, unfortunately, I can't comment on.

I always like to avoid comparisons between these two immortal sharks ( ET and SR ) because as a centre pairing they would rate as the greatest in rugby league history.
My decision to pick ET over SR comes down to the fact that SR did play 2 seasons with the arch enemy ( St.George ) and ET stayed loyal right to the end.
