Ladder Predictions for Finals

I was playing around with the Ladder Predictor on NRL.com and was curious to see how everyone on here sees the final rounds playing out. I couldn't be arsed predicting actual scorelines, so i just entered 1-0 victories to whoever I thought would win the game. F/A will be a little be skewed as a result.

Here's my results after 26 rounds:

Was pretty surprised to see that we climb all the way up to 5th, but the Storm have a pretty rough end to the season with matches against teams in the top 4. So too the Bulldogs and Warriors.

I'll play around later & have a go, only as a sharks supporter would, we are just about the only team that stuff this up & still miss out on the 8 from here!

I haven't watched enough of the other teams this year to give a decent answer.

I would have loved if we could have snuck into the top 4 to get the double chance, playing the dogs week one of finals is hardly a reward for finishing 5th.

With Fifita I would of thought we were a chance of making the 4. The Rabbits have a pretty rough run home and Melb aren't what they used to be. We had a horror start to the season and we are still within two points of the top 4. Never say never, but it's going to be a lot harder without Andrew.

Every time I have a go it says Cronulla to win the comp.

Well us and cowboys (i think) both dropped 4. Remember though the start that tigers and newy had. Haha

I thought the Broncos did it one yr, it might have been the yr we won a minor premiership, from memory we bundled them out in the semis as well if its the same yr I am thinking of.

I find it hard to look at the list because of Mr Wright's weird blinking eyes, no offence mate.

History means nothing until you make it yourself and any team in the top eight can win.

I would be unsurprised to see a Sharks grandfinal win come from a weird and unexpected position.

Which leads me to predict that when we do so it will quite likely be from 8th place.

If we have Andrew on the paddock with Lewis fit and no injuries we have a real shot at the 4 , to face Brisbane would be a great match up , we play well against the Broncos , they do not like playing us for that reason . I predict 6th spot due to our for and against.

I done this last week and i had us sitting 4th. I also had the Roosters getting the minor premiership, they tied with the broncos but beat them on F&A.

Than i had us beat the Roosters first week of the finals, then play them again in the grand final. (and win of course)

This would be a site to see as i have a bunch of Roosters mates and would love to beat them 4 times in 1 year. 6 times if you include the nines comp.

I'd be very happy with 6th place. Gives us a final in Sydney which will be advantageous if playing someone like Melbourne of NZ.

Why not. We have won 6 out of the last 7 (should be 7 from 7). We are even up against one of the teams we beat in those last 7.

It's certainly possible.

I am really confident right now. I think we can win 6 of 6. 3 easy wins (Eels, Tigers & Manly), Storm have been playing bad recently, Warriors are missing SJ. The only one we should have trouble with is the Cows and we have already beat them once this year.
